Forjando un Ídolo
Forjando un Idolo is a CMLL tournament, debuting in 2011.
Format
The tournament featured 16 young luchadores. The luchadors were selected in four groups, led by four mentors. (The process behind the selections and qualifying was unspecified.)
Each group of four luchadors will face off in single fall fifteen minute matches. The winner of each match will receive 3 points. The loser will get 0 points. If there is a tie, each participant will receive a single point.
The top two luchadors in each group will move onto the single elimination playoff tournament. The final will take place May 20th.
