The Copa Independencia is a tournament held annually by CMLL since 2021, to celebrate Mexican Independence Day (September 16). Due to the timing, the final typically takes place on the CMLL Anniversary Show.

This tournament featured two semi-final 12-man cibernetico matches on September 3 and September 10, with the final on September 17. This tournament reverted to the previous 24-competitor format, and skewed more towards lower-card luchadors than the previous editions. The first two rounds took place on September 1 & September 8, whilst the Aniversario final took place a day later than traditionally on Saturday September 16, as to coincide exactly with Independence Day.
