A CMLL tournament focusing on new wrestlers. It follows in the tradition of recent Sangre Nueva and La Copa Jr. tournaments focusing on younger or established wrestlers in solo action.
CMLL held the tournament in the standard sixteen luchador, three week, single elimination format. All matches were held in Arena Mexico.
