Torneo de Escuelas
Torneo de Escuelas is a tournament held since 2023 that pits the latest graduates from CMLL's multiple training schools against one another, to both showcase them and prove the supremacy of their specific trainers.

The inaugural tournament featured 4 teams:
- Comarca Lagunera: Misterio Blanco, Hijo de Stuka Jr., Misterio Negro, Insólito, Brillante Jr. and Gran Jefe (w/ coach Ultimo Guerrero [& substitute coach Blue Panther])
- Guadalajara: Vaquero Jr., Crixus, Fantástico, Adrenalina, Explosivo, Ángel Rebelde (w/ coach Satanico)
- Puebla: Millenium, Multy, El Perverso, Prayer, el Hijo del Centella Roja, Rey Samuray (w/ coach Black Tiger)
- Mexico City: Príncipe, Tonalli, Futuro, Max Star, Neón, Vegas (w/ coach Virus)
Blue Panther & Virus defeated Black Tiger & Satánico in a four-way elimination match, to determine the seeding for the tournament. Blue Panther represented Lagunera due to Ultimo Guerrero being in Japan on the annual Fantastica Mania tour.

2025
This year expanded the tournament from four schools to six. A Queretaro team was added, and the “Comarca Lagunera” regional team was split into the two major cities in the area: Torreon, Coahuila, and Gomez Palacio, Durango. The teams were also lowered to 5 members each, and the format was changed to allow for three semifinals and a 3-way 5v5v5 final.

CMLL held the tumbler draw for the team seedings on the February 12 CMLL Informa. On the same show, they announced that Angel Azteca Jr. (Gomez Palacio) and Turbo (Torreon) did not pass medical testing and thus would not participate. CMLL did not book in alternates, which put the Laguna teams at a disadvantage.
Turbo was medically disqualified from competing for Team Torreon, making the match a 5-on-4 handicap.

This year's format was drastically revamped (presumably to accommodate a far higher percentage of Mexico City trainees that year). It was instead a single-elimination tag team tournament, featured 12 teams who had been paired up based on their individual trainer. Each team also wore matching armbands of different colors.
