Mascara Purpura was one of CMLL's young highfliers. CMLL claimed him as a Mexican who went to school in the United States, but outside sources list him as someone born in the United States. He got his start in the Monterrey area, where his father wrestled previously.

Briefly gained negative press when he was announced as Le Parke, and everyone assumed it was a cheap knockoff of La Parka. Instead it was a French-themed gimmick with a big green Eiffel Tower on his mask.
