Sofia Alonso

Sofía Alonso is the daughter of CMLL's former owner Francisco Lutteroth. She began to work as marketing manager for the promotion in 2016. Was briefly promoted to head of the company after her father's death, and quickly ousted by the rest of the family due to internal politics.[1] Was essentially replaced by her replacement's own daughter Gala Lutteroth as the young female front-office representative.[2]
Sofia became head of CMLL's marketing department in late 2016, with expectations to “modernize” the company.[3] Initially she acted as a representative for the company at public events,[4][5] major announcements,[6] humanitarian projects,[7] and award ceremonies.[8][9][10] He participated in the 2018 FantasticaMania tour to familiarize herself with CMLL's international partnerships, and was repeatedly cited as a source of upcoming changes for the company,[11] seeking to "renovate" it with younger talent & newer platforms as to attract more fans.[12]
Was notably more invested in CMLL's on-screen product than prior ownership staff, being eager to discuss significant angles, moments & feuds.[13] This passion for the artform itself was instilled at a young age, when she'd watch CMLL on Saturday television with her father Paco Alonso.[14]
Was once in a relationship with Cuatrero.[15] One of several names she cited as the future faces of the company in 2018 (alongside Dragon Rojo Jr., Titan, Hechicero, Soberano Jr., and Fuego).[12]
