Atlantis Jr. has found himself unpopular with the hardcore fans, who believe he's coasting off his father's name while luchadors on the undercard work better matches and are more engaging. (Basically, the same problems his father suffered while he was on top, with a side of nepotism allegations.) When crowds trend smarkier (e.g. the CMLL vs. AEW (2025) shows) he tends to get booed despite being a tecnico.
