Many luchadores have wrestled under the name of Robin, as a tag team partner of Batman using the costume of Batman's sidekick.

Some of the wrestlers who've wrestled as Robin include:

• Chamaco Escobedo was probably the first known mexican luchador who personified Robin. He was the sidekick of El Marquez I.
• Robin (Matamoros) was the side kick of Aeroflash who went as Batman at the time.
• Marvik went under Robin persona and also was the sidekick of Aeroflash and then Universitario.
• Rigo went as Robin early on his career and was Aeroflash's tag team partner.
• Spark went under the name of Pequeño Robin

The CMLL Robin takes his name from "Robin Hood", in homage to his father who wrestled most of his career under that name before switching to Brazo Cibernetico. Robin's brother Arquero's has the same origin, translating as "archer".
