There have been many "La Ola" (The Wave) groups in lucha libre:

• La Ola Blanca - the White Wave. The most famous & historically significant group.

  • La Nueva Ola Blanca (2010's)
• La Ola Azul - the Blue Wave. Recurring CMLL trio.
• La Ola Amarilla - the Yellow Wave. Japanese (typically NJPW) rudo faction lead by Okumura.
• La Ola Roja - the Black Wave. Several groups. Predominantly a CMLL midcard rudo stable from the 2020a.
• La Ola Lila - the Lilac Wave. Exotico faction.
• La Ola Roja - the Red Wave. Mexicali trio.
• La Ola Lagunera - the Lagoon Wave. Short lived CMLL alliance of Lagunera luchadors.
• La Ola Verde - the Green Wave. Consisting of Furia Verde and his family.
• La Ola del Mal - the Wave of Evil. Rivals of Mexicali luchador Skalibur.
