La Silla ("The Chair") is a Thesz Press turned into a dive. Usually done off the ring apron with a running start, a La Silla usually ends up with the victim flattened and the attacker either seated on top of him, or standing above him.

Negro Casas and Perro Aguayo Jr. are modern wrestlers who use this as their primary dive. It's also the dive of choice for many female wrestlers.

Due to the dive being a fundamental element, a "Silla" is also the term used in lucha libre for a diving Sitdown Splash, ala Yokozuna's "Banzai Drop" or Doink's "Whoopie Cushion".

Molly Holly used it inside the ring from the top rope with a flip added, and used it as a finish dubbed the "Molly-Go-Round". Which was then itself adopted by other wrestlers like Ariel.
