The Casas family is a famous lucha libre family spanning three generations.

Bio

Pepe Casas, a former wrestler, trainer and referee, is the father of the dynasty.

Negro Casas was the first son to debut, followed by Felino and Heavy Metal. Negro went on to become a long-time main eventer for CMLL. Felino became a solid midcard to upper-midcard performer for CMLL. Heavy Metal went on to become a midcarder and sometimes main eventer for both AAA and CMLL.

In the 2000's, the third generation of the family began to appear in wrestling with Puma King and Tiger becoming midcard CMLL wrestlers and are so far the most successful of the third generation of the Casas family. Canelo Casas is sometimes seen on lower card of smaller CMLL shows.

There are said to be more members of the family in wrestling.

Other

Dalis La Caribeña, Princesa Blanca & wrestling reporter Cynthia Palacios are[1] related via marriage to Negro Casas, Felino & Heavy Metal, respectively. Dalys' family Veneno, Vudu Max, Chacho Medina & (possibly) Keshin Black can thus furthermore be counted, by technicality.

Likewise, Negro Casas' daughters married various wrestlers. Namely; Diamante, Delta & Psycho Clown, with the Diamante relationship having ended by 2014. Psycho Clown's marriage to Zoraida Casas connects the Casas Family to the Brazo Family.

Negro Casas' daughters started training in Olympic wrestling themselves in 2007, alongside Dalys. And were still training by late 2009.[2] None of them seemed to transition to lucha libre themselves, however.

Negro Casas has at least 2 grandsons through Zoraida, one of whom was born in February/March 2016.[3]
