Copa Independencia
The Copa Independencia is a tournament held annually by CMLL since 2021, to celebrate Mexican Independence Day (September 16). Due to the timing, the final typically takes place on the CMLL Anniversary Show.

2021
This tournament featured two semi-final 12-man cibernetico matches on September 3 and September 7, with the final on September 17. Due to Covid-19 having pushed back major shows for a year and a half, it took place on a much-delayed Homenaje a Dos Leyendas show instead of an Aniversario (which instead took place the following week).

The first two rounds took place on September 1 & September 8, whilst the Aniversario final took place a day later than traditionally on Saturday September 16, as to coincide exactly with Independence Day.
