La Ola Azul (The Blue Wave) is a name used by various sporadic short-lived teams through CMLL history, typically based around Atlantis and/or Lizmark. It specifically combines luchadors that all wear blue gear.
Combinations include:
- Lizmark & Máscara Año 2000 - 1979-84
- Lizmark, Máscara Año 2000 & Atlantis - ~1984[1]
- Lizmark, Atlantis & Anibal - ~1989[2]
- Lizmark, Atlantis & Mr. Niebla - 1997-8, held the CMLL World Trios Championships
- Mr. Niebla, Hijo del Lizmark & Olimpico - ~2001[3]
- Atlantis, Mr. Niebla & Hijo del Lizmark (later joined by Blue Panther)[4] - ~2004,[5] ~2008[6]
- Lizmark, El Hijo de Lizmark & Blue Panther - 2005-7[7]
- Atlantis, Blue Panther & Diamante Azul - 2012-4[8][9]
- Atlantis, Diamante Azul & Stuka Jr. - ~2018[10]
- Atlantis, Diamante Azul & Atlantis Jr. - 2019[11]
