Wrestled for WWE from 2006-2020 mainly as Zack Ryder, where he was most famous for his "Z! True Long Island Story" (for which he created the Internet Championship), for his tag team title reigns with Brian Myers and for his brief United States and Intercontinental championship reigns. After his WWE release in 2020, has built up an even bigger name for himself across the independents worldwide.
Though he was a regular in WWE's Mexican house show tours (and appeared on both the Raw and Smackdown episodes taped at the Palacio de los Deportes in 2011), Cardona made his Mexican lucha libre debut in a AAA/EMW event in Tijuana on February 17, 2024, teaming up with Marty Scurll and Antifaz Del Norte in a losing effort to the team of Laredo Kid, Octagón Jr. III and Pentagón Jr.. Cardona would return to México a month later for the KAOZ Blue Demon Jr. 39. Aniversario show in Monterrey, losing to Blue Demon Jr. in a Four Way match which also involved Cibernético and Pagano.
