Note: Not to be confused with a Guadalajara-based Halcon Dorado who competed in 1959 & 1960.
Debuted under his own name in the early 1960s vs Red Man[1]. Was intended to be repackaged as "El Hijo del Santo" due to his talent, which was nixed by Santo himself. As such, he adopted the similar Halcon Dorado gimmick instead.
Has the unusual distinction of being the only mask immortalized along the bottom of Arena Mexico's 80th Anniversary mural - aside from Marvilla Enmascarada - that wasn't actually lost. At least not on the given date of 1963 (Halcon Dorado's debut).[1]
