Independent luchador from central Mexico, greatly respected by his local community. Homesteaded Arena San Juan Pantitlán in Nezahualcoyotl for many decades. Began his career as one of Los Socios ("the partners"), eventually switching to the name El Chacal & adopting a more aggressive style. Wrestled at Arena Coliseo as well, at some point.
Had a fierce rivalry with Al Suárez in the 1970s, peaking in 1977 with a bloody Super Libre in which Chacal won Suárez's salary, and an Apuestas match that Chacal lost. Also feuded with Los Misterios Blancos, beating Misterio Blanco I for the arena's Featherweight Championship in 1971, and with Memo Arenas, against whom he headlined in Arena San Juan.
Later formed an infrequent team named Los Chacales with a Chacal II.
