CMLL Costa Rica is a lucha libre promotion based in Costa Rica, serves as a subsidiary of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. In 2014 Escualo and Ares created this lucha promotion following an agreement with AULL. On March 22, 2014 would be the date that was held the first event of AULL Costa Rica; since then they began to hold events on a monthly basis. l November 18, 2014, officially announced the name change of AULL Costa Rica for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre Costa Rica (CMLL Costa Rica); this after an agreement made with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. From that time regular fortnightly events have been conducted; Also, in several of these events it has been attended CMLL and USA independent wrestlers such as Estrellita, Mr. Niebla, Puma King, Shocker, Titan, Jay Lethal & Matt Sydal.
