After the death of his uncle, Antonio Pena, young Dorian took control of AAA with his father Joaquin Roldan.
In front of the cameras, Dorian was the rebelling rudo son of AAA owners Joaquin and Marisela. Backstage, Dorian was in charge of the creative direction of the company and many of the new initiatives.
Was a driving force in AAA's sale to WWE, following his father's death in 2017. After talking about the possibility with them and witnessing first-hand how much more professionally-run their shows were than AAA's, he studied how to hone AAA's own infrastructure as to increase its value for a sale down the line. His family used use the money to reinvest in other business ventures, to diversify their assets beyond just lucha libre. Maintains a spot on the creative team post-sale - alongside The Undertaker & Jeremy Borash - as the advocate of "authentic" Mexicana.[1]
