Chocheman (Angel Gonzalez) passed away on Tuesday. He spent most of his career wrestling as generic Mexico State masked rudo Medieval II. In 2023, Fernando Robles of Robles Promotions suggested he play a character based on one from a Bronco song. He wasn’t a fan of the music, but Robles was insistent and the gimmick – basically a fat guy comedy character – got over and led to the most high profile work of his career. He hasn’t wrestled as much in the last year, but did have a match last month.
