Yaki was one of the most well-rounded and professional wrestlers in our city; he held the State Lightweight, Welterweight, and Middleweight titles and, at the time, held the record for the most "hair vs. hair" match victories!
He experienced great moments at the local Arena México (Abasolo 10 & 11), where he had the opportunity to both team up with and face off against major stars of the era, such as Mil Máscaras, Blue Demon, Ray Mendoza, Perro Aguayo, Sangre Chicana, Villano III, [[Matamático], and El Intocable!
He engaged in epic clashes and rivalries with Zar Rojo — even culminating in high-stakes wager matches—and shared unforgettable moments in the ring!
