Started as an independent wrestler for Apollo Dantes's Dantes Lucha Factory promotion. When Apollo Dantes took control of Arena Coliseo Guadalajara in 2011, Brillante became a regular there.
Was trained by Brillante Sr., but might not be related to him;[1] possibly a misinterpretation of the statement "Much like Sombra, this Brillante was trained by his father Brillante" from an unarchived 2012 interview.[2] That having been said, Brilliante Sr. did claim to have a second son - Christian - in 1998.[3]
