Bio
Rivera is one of the announcers of the CMLL MVS shows (Guerreros del Ring, Ras de Lona). He's also in charge of the Luchas 2000 magazine.
Since Ras de Lona started, Rivera's visibility with the company has grown. He's the host of all CMLL press conferences and contract signings, and handles play-by-play for the radiocmll.com website. He's believed to be influential in CMLL's advance into new media.
Prior to working for CMLL, he was head of AAA public relations (1992 - ?).
In December 2022 it was revealed he had become part of the CMLL booking team, having replaced the retired Franco Colombo.[1] Considering his reputation for pushing CMLL towards modernisation, he is most likely responsible for other cultural shifts towards the global norm. Such as the increase in international collaboration, more 3-way matches, and the sudden removal of Captain's Rules.[2]
