Boxed and was a gymnast before being recruited to wrestling by Gori Guerrero. Retired for a year after losing his mask but came back and made it to Arena Mexico. Won a tournament to get a title shot where he defeated Enfermero. Returned back to Guadalajara soon after losing his title. Made one tour of Guatemala in 1960 and didn't wrestle again.
