Las Chicas Indomables

The dominant CMLL tag team of La Jarochita and Lluvia. After several years of incidental tagging, they officially formed in October 2020 by winning a tournament for the newly-revived Mexican National Women's Tag Team Championship; becoming the first such champions since 1996. They reigned for over 3 years, stacking up a laudable 12 successful defences for a CMLL title. One of which - in September 2021, not even a full year after the reign's start - was the first women's match to main event an Aniversario. Due to the results of a fan-vote, no less.
This period of success as a duo would also extend to their singles exploits, with Jarochita winning the CMLL Universal Women's Championship in 2021. 2022 would be a banner year for both women; on top of stacking up 4 tag title defences, Jarochita would enter into a heated feud against Reyna Isis and claim her mask in the penultimate contest of the CMLL 89th Anniversario. The following month, she would reach her second straight Universal Women's Tournament final, opposite who-else-but Lluvia. Who would defeat her partner in-turn and secure the green belt for the Indomable ones in back-to-back years.
After their 12th defence in July 2023, their position as CMLL's unequivocal top amazona tandem earned them an obvious bye into the inaugural CMLL World Women's Tag Team Championship match at the CMLL 90th Anniversario. Where they were finally overcome in a title bout by Stephanie Vaquer & the recently-returned Zeuxis. As they were once again in the rematch 2 months later, at Arena Puebla's Homenaje A Las Mujeres Revoluciarias (Homage to Revolutionary Women) event. They finally lost their own belts in their 13th defence on March 8, 2024, to the similarly-dynamic team of Andromeda & Skadi. In what would be Jarochita's final match for 9 months due to a pregnancy.
Her return match on the December 13 Friday show was, of course, a tag bout alongside Lluvia, in which they triumphed over Red Velvet & Viva Van on a CMLL vs AEW -themed card. In the interim, Lluvia had used her experience as a top-level tag expert to win the CMLL World Titles with Tessa Blanchard. Lluvia briefly flirted with the idea of adding her as an honorary third member of the Chicas (as they have previously considered with Sanely, before a knee injury nixed those plans), despite misgivings about diluting the teams chemistry as a pair.[1] Serendipitously however, CMLL announced that Blanchard had left the company (having signed with TNA) mere days before the return, thus vacating the titles.[2] Unsurprisingly, Lluvia & Jarochita won the resulting tournament to be crowned the new champions.
Their momentum stalled in 2026, following a farcically unlucky sequence of injuries to Jarochita.
Their signature tag offence includes:
- both performing their finishing running kicks (Jarochita's Patada Jarocha & Lluvia's rope-trapped dropkick) to both opponents simultaneously on opposite sides of the ring, criss-crossing one another in the process
