Many luchadors have used the name Bárbaro as part or all of their name.

• El Bárbaro - Guadalajara independent rudo, lost his mask to El Gallo in 2012, has since become better known by Barbaro Cavernario
• Barbaro I & Barbaro II - Puebla tag team. Barbaro I has appeared in Arena Puebla openers.
• Rey Bárbaro - CMLL opening card rudo, lost his mask as a replacement to Máscara Mágica at the Arena Coliseo 50th Anniversary show.
• Konnan El Barbaro - one of the most famous luchadors of all time, frequently listed as Konnan with the suffix.
