La Ola Negra (The Black Wave) is a name given to several groups in lucha history.
1990s CMLL
Active from 1992-1994, this Ola Negra consisted of:
2020s CMLL
Active from 2019 (July 9) to the present,[1][2] though Akuma and Espanto Jr. had been a regular team from as early as 2013:
- Akuma - original member, left in August 2024 to move up the card
- Espanto Jr. - original member
- Espiritu Negro - original member, left in 2020 to turn tecnico & form Los AtrapaSueños
- Dark Magic - joined February 25, 2022[3] (first teamed January 30)
- Raider - joined September 4, 2024[4]
- Gallero - joined September 4, 2025[5]
Other groups
- Comando Negro, Magia Negra, and Guerrero Negro were collectively billed as La Ola Negra in IWRG in 2010
- The AULL Ola Negra were Conde Bartock, Misterio, and Violento, with occasional substitute members on other indies
- Beda, Olimpus & Spider Boy lost the right to the name to Conde Bartock, Violento & Magia Negra in 2012[6]
