Popularized by Kurt Angle, the wrestler holds the wrist of his opponent while putting his head underneath the opponent's chest, grabs the inside of one of the opponents legs then lifts him up onto his shoulders whilst falling backwards.

Hirooki Goto used a wrist-clutch Olympic Slam as his finish during his junior heavyweight days, named the Jigoku Kuruma ("Hell Wheel") or Go to Heaven.

Half Nelson Olympic Slam

This variation of the Olympic Slam is lifted out of a half nelson fireman's carry rather than a torture rack. Invented by Michael Modest as the Modest Driver but used by Mexican wrestler Incognito.
