Multiple luchadors have adopted the name Huracán Ramírez, ever since the character's 1953 film debut.

Daniel García - the most iconic & long-lasting portrayal (1956-1987); considered Huracán Ramírez I, despite not being the first:
- Eduardo Bonada - Spanish actor who portrayed the character in the original movie's action scenes, and some matches thereafter (1952-1953?)
- Carta Brava - adopted the name immediately after Bonada's abdication, up until Garcia (1954-1956)
- Fernando Osés - portrayed Ramirez in Northern Mexico, lost the mask in Monterrey (1954)
- Carlos Castillo - lost the mask to El Enfermero (1955)
- La Sombra Vengadora (1955)
- Enrique Llanes (195x?)
- Jean Safont (195x?)
- David Silva - the actor who portrayed the character in most of the movies' scenes (1952-1969)
- Pepe Romay, Freddy "Pichi" Fernandez, and Marco Antonio Arzate - actors who appeared in the movies as other characters, but are listed as having occasionally acted as Ramirez by some sources
- a luchador who used the name years before the movie, according to programs from 1937 and 1945
Huracán Sevilla - aka Huracán Ramírez II, lost the mask to Octagon (1987-1990)
Shogun - aka Huracán Ramírez III (presumably); simultaneously went by Huracán Ramírez Jr., eventually switching fully to it (1996-2002)
Fiero - aka Huracán Ramírez IV
