Monterrey based rudo. Rey Hechicero had promoted in 2009 the LMLL (Liga Metropolitana de Lucha Libre) in Monterrey. Currently, Rey Hechicero is cataloged as one of the best wrestlers in Northern Mexico. In 2013, Rey Hechicero was the host of Internet program named "Haciendo La Regio Lucha" that was streamed online by Regio Vivo TV. As a data, Rey Hechicero made famous a phrase that he says describe the lucha libre: "La lucha libre es un deporte lleno de arte, pasión y espectáculo".
Though he is a rudo, he is a frighteningly effective technician which has made him very popular in foreign wrestling scenes. He was picked up by CMLL at the very end of 2013 and has only risen since then. He got to meet Japanese audiences for NJPW in 2016 and US audiences for PWG and ROH in 2018-19. As of 2025, has a dual contract with AEW which lets him appear as part of Don Callis' Family heel megagroup.
