Broad category of wrestling manoeuvre, originating from legitimate Olympic wrestling. The common thread is lifting an opponent and slamming them down (typically back first) behind where the performer was facing, as opposed to a slam or powerbomb.

The term "suplex" alone is commonly used to refer to the most basic kind - the Vertical suplex. Eddie Guerrero made the continuous rolling vertical suplexes a signature, called the Three Amigos.
