Popular hammerlock/reverse neck crank submission, sometimes called an octopus hold. Signature finishing submission of Octagon (who usually sets it up with a Russian legsweep), but used by plenty of others.

The term (which translates to "ladder") is also sometimes used to describe the sequence wherein a wrestler applies an arm wrench/wristlock to their opponent, runs to the corner and quickly climbs the turnbuckles whilst maintaining the hold.
