It is a variation of an Olympic Wrestling submission hold called "spladle" which is intended to get a pin. However this hold is for submission in which the oppontent receives an armbar. This move was innovated by Hijo del Halcón Suriano.

There is a history behind this move: It was Halcon's 9th birthday and his father had a gym besides their home and he waited all day for his "birthday gift" and it seemed that he did not receive anything. He asked his father why he did not give him a birthday gift.

His father told him that his gift would be a lucha hold of his creation named "La Corona del Halcón". This move has been excuted by Hijo del Halcón Suriano with pride.
