Triangular

A three way match. Originally wrestled in Mexico as a pair of singles matches, wherein the combatants draw lots to determine a bye.
In apuesta matches, scoring a fall in a triangular allows a competitor to leave the match, thus forcing the losers to wrestle in a one on one singles match, betting their respective mask or hair. Some older versions of the match would instead require a competitor to lose two falls in order to forfeit their wager, such as in one promoted by EMLL in 1989 between El Matematico, Blue Demon & Rayo de Jalisco.
