Faul

(Redirected from Low Blow)
A low blow, if witnessed by a ref (non-rudo anyways) it is usually an automatic DQ.
A "Blind Foul" refers to the technique of kicking an opponent behind you in-between the legs, typically whilst cornering the referee to ensure they don't see it.
Another common rudo ploy is to fake a foul on themselves, by exaggeratedly pretending to have been low-blowed by the opponent when the ref is distracted. With the intent of winning by DQ.
An Eye Rake or Eye Poke is another less extreme type of illegal move, that's used to similar effect and with less scrutiny from the referee.
The term Colmillazo ("fang strike", typically from a dog) is sometimes used to refer to the above, as well as to any number of other dirty rudo tactics. Such as:
- using the ropes for leverage on a pin
- unmasking an opponent to ensure an easy cradle win
- unmasking oneself and throwing it to the opponent, ala the fake foul
- hair pulling, particularly more creative forms (such as standing on an opponent's long hair and pulling them upwards by the arms)
