Ruleta de la Muerte, 1998

This was a Pay Per View event held in July 1998 that was shown on PPV in Mexico. It took place at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. 32 men were seperated into 16 teams, and the losers of each match in the tournament advanced. The team that lost in the finals would then fight each other in a mask vs. mask match.

In the finals, Guerrero del Futuro lost his mask to El Hijo del Santo. Apparently, Hijo del Espectro was supposed to lose, but he no-showed and Futuro was probably offered a lot of money to be a last minute replacement.
