A one night tournament in Palacio de los Deportes, held on June 19, 1977. All wrestlers put their masks on the line. The event was known as "16 Mascaras al Infierno".

A battle royal was held to determine both the teams and the seeding for the tournament.

Canek was advertised for the tournament, but was marked as injured in a magazine and was instead put into a singles match with Dr. Wagner. Dos Caras was also advertised, but was marked as injured and did not compete.
