The IWAS World Tag Team Titles only appeared once - on an AAA TV Taping in Acapulco on August 17, 1996. The reigning champions were said to be Jerry Estrada & Juventud Guerrera although no record exists of them ever having teamed nor being entered into a tournament for the titles. They promptly dropped the belts to Konnan & Rey Misterio Jr. in an excellent ****+ match.

Current Champions

Konnan & Rey Misterio Jr. are technically still the current champions.
