Supposedly replaced his older brother (the original Plata) when he initially retired in the 90s due to disillusionment over their brother Oro's death. Apparently not the Plata who lost his mask to Averno in 2009 however, which was the original making a brief return. According to results records, both wrestled alongside one another at a 2014 Infierno en el Ring-style 11-man cage match (seemingly as an unplanned addition, as the event's poster only advertised ten competitors & one Plata).
