	Explosivo was first known an opening match rudo, who occasionally wrestled in [[Arena Coliseo DF]] for CMLL. He was a regular from 2001 to 2004, but his bookings appeared to decrease from there with long stretches of absence. In June of 2007, he jumped to AAA to be an opening match wrestler there instead. 			[[Tony Salazar]] claimed in 2025 that Explosivo fizzled out because he was “undisciplined”, and simply stopped training despite his talent (having come from a rich family & presumably expected more concessions). That said, he also claimed that Explosivo had returned to training with him earlier that year, and had become extremely disciplined in the interim.
