The 2011 shows are notable for being the last matches of CMLL's original [[Mistico]]. Misitco took a scheduled flight to Los Angeles, but signed with WWE and did not return to the CMLL. Mistico gave no public indication these were his final matches, going as far to do post match challenges with Averno to a rematch in Japan.
