<!-- Bio -->

Biography
<font face="Verdana">

Virus' debut as a professional wrestler was on April 20 of 1986 for Carlos Maynes' UWA as Bird Boy I (there was also a Bird Boy II). He was trained by Fuerza Aerea and despite his size he knew he'd make it like his idol Super Astro.

He was mostly used as a first or second match attraction at the small arena's because he was good but very small. On July 27, 1991 he captured the UWA Featherweight Title by defeating Super Archie at Arena Apatlaco, and lost it on August 25 of the following year against El Coralillo at Arena Ecatepec. He held it during more than a full year though only had two defenses.

It's not like in the UWA, that was falling apart, had any plans for the title as evidenced by the fact that Coralillo never lost the title. He just lost it because he had already left the promotion to join EMLL's minis division that was having a hot moment.

In EMLL, Pirata Morgan offered him to be his "mini" version after the original one left for AAA so he became Piratita Morgan. His actual debut with that name was on August 7, 1992 at La Arena Coliseo from Guadalajara, Jalisco.

When Pirata Morgan left for AAA there was little point of having a mini version of a guy that wasn't in the promotion, so Damian El Guerrero offered him the name in 1994.

In 1995 he went to Japan to work for the independent promotion W*ING and there he was called Damiancito and was the mini version of Damian 666, who was a fairly known luchador on the independent scene due to his work for FMW.

On February 27, 1996 he captured the CMLL Mini Estrellas Title from Mascarita Mágica. He defended it against Ultimo Dragoncito, Cicloncito Ramírez and Mascarita himself, and dropped it to Dragoncito in October 1999 at Arena Puebla.

Damiancito especially had a classic match on January 7, 1997 at Arena Coliseo when he defeated Cicloncito Ramírez to retain the CMLL Minis title. After the match the wrestlers got a huge ovation. This was the match that made Cicloncito stand out from the rest of the mini wrestlers as a super worker.

In the last Arena Coliseo show of 1997 there was an eight minis elimination match in which the winner would get the right to wrestle in a regular tag match with the "big guys". Damiancito won that match, that also featured Tritoncito, Cicloncito Ramírez, Pequeño Cochisse, Platita, Guerrerito del Futuro, Pequeño Sayama and Fierito. He got his try-out as promised, but as he is not a midget and he worked so well with the big guys because he's such a good worker, he moved on to the full sized wrestlers division.

Since there was no point of being a "-cito" now that he was not wrestling minis anymore, he changed his name to Virus in May of 1998. A friend of him came up with the name while they were working out.

During that month, and after debuting as Virus, he wrestled as Damiancito again, but just a couple more shots until the name change was made "official" on TV.

That same month he also captured the National Lightweight Title defeating a Guadalajara local called Akira in a match for the vacant belt. He started a feud with Oriental and defended the title numerous times against him. They also feuded over the Distrito Federal Lightweight Title that Oriental held.

Virus is also a regular in the Japanese tours of CMLL, and he has also competed in Super Delfin's Osaka Pro. On Christmas of 1999 he defeated Masato Yakushiji to capture the CMLL Japan Super Lightweight Title that he lost to Ricky Marvin on August 6, 2000.

Nowadays Virus is a top-25 worker in Mexico, and he keeps improving thanks to the weekly training with the Grupo Cibernetico commanded by Negro Casas and Guillermo "Memo" Díaz. Due to size he'll never be a major player in the company, though he's an excellent asset to EMLL due to his amazing ability to carry any opponent through the spots or get the best out of flashy tecnicos.

Amapola is Dark Angel's foil. It's gotten the biggest push of her career, and it's also cost her mask.

Before CMLL started a full time women's division, and in it's early days, Amapola seemed to be as a solid->quite good working ruda, one who could hold up her end of the match but wasn't going to be focus of it. She executed her role well, and when the division got reshuffled based on departures, responses and performances, Amapola was suddenly the lead ruda.

From there on, Amapola's been Dark Angel; they were tag team matches in their first match in Arena Mexico, and Amapola feuded with her in anger/resentment for Dark turning tecnica. This was eventually built up to a hair versus mask match. The company was strongly behind Dark Angel, and it wasn't a surprise when Amapola lost her mask.

A mild surprise was Amapola's behavior after losing her mask. A luchador will typically allow all the fans (and the magazines) to get a good look at his/her face. Amapola pulled her mask off and immediately turned away from the fans and the cameras, walking quickly to the backstage area and never allowing most of the fans to see her face. She was brought back to Arena Mexico the following week, and the fans finally got to see her then, and gave a explanation/apology on that week's Guerreros del Ring show, but was left off CMLL Mexico City cards for the following weeks, perhaps as punishment.

With the loss of her mask, Amapola still has a grudge against Dark Angel, but has slipped in standing among the CMLL rudas, with Hiroka's title victory probably elevating her to top in the group. Amapola is still a good traditional hard working ruda and likely has more successful days to come.

Amapola carries around the IWRG Women's Championship, but it's a mystery as to how she got it. It wasn't on an IWRG card in Naucalpan, and it's unclear if they recognize her as champion. Ayako Hamada was the last listed champion, and while it's possible (and likely) there was some title change in Japan, no one's been able to find out when or where it happened. She's never defended the championship, but brings it with her to most matches.

Biography
Dark Angel is a currently a top tecnica in Mexico. While she hasn't been in Arena Mexico as much in 2006 as 2005, she's one of the most famous luchadoras in the country. Dark Angel - equally referred to by her given name of Sarah Stock - is originally from Canada and still wears that countries' colors, but she's learned some Spanish and has generally been accepted by the crowd.

Dark Angel is one of the people credited with CMLL's current women's wrestling push. She originally just worked in the Monterrey area, and even worked the 2005 AAA Reina de Reinas tournament (as an anonymous face in the crowd), before she was 'discovered' by CMLL. Even then, Sarah seemed slotted as ruda enhancement talent against two other well known tecnicas, Lady Apache and Marcela, in their first match. Dark Angel and her partner Amapola stole the match and, in combination with Apache leaving CMLL, became the top stars of the division.

Dark Angel got success has been due to talent, timing, and connections; she became a star in lucha magazine, which helped her become a bigger star to the fans. Her looks didn't hurt, and that's what prompted CMLL to have her turn tecnica. Dark Angel feuded with her ex-tag partner Amapola, leading to a mask versus hair match in Arena Mexico, the first apuesta women's match and the highest placed women's match in this era of women's wrestling.

Dark Angel's participation in CMLL seems to be on a downswing at the moment for no one specific reason. She's still working elsewhere plenty, and they'll still bring her in occasionally, but they've expanded the women's division roster since it's early moments, and it could be that they're just doing the best to keep everyone involved. (It could also be that she's charging more for her services and they're using less expensive women for non-special shows, but there's been no indication of such a thing.)

Dark Angel is a solid women's wrestler. She tends to use more power moves than a typical luchadora, but is a typical tecnica in most ways. You can still see the Canada/US style of wrestling in her work, but she seems to have adapted to lucha.

Sarah is something of a curosity in her homeland. She's unknown as a wrestler in Canada, but papers and television have done stories about her success in Mexico.
Diana is a CMLL tecnica, although she spends more of her time in Monterrey. She's a beautiful woman and popular, but hasn't yet matured as a luchadora.

Diana spent the end of 2005 and early 2006 out of the ring, due to a broken leg. Diana's a motorcycle based traffic reporter in Monterrey in her other job, and she was hit while covering another accident.

Notes
