I disagree. Stan Hansen, the man most famous for his lariat, has used both arms to do the lariat. A clothesline is just the non-cowboy name for the lariat. - Crimson G

You know, I moved this around, and now it occurs to me I shouldn't have bothered - we want pictures of people doing moves in lucha libre, and this is not that. When someone finds a lucha lariat/clothesline, feel free to name it whatever. --thecubsfan 15:09, 15 August 2006 (CDT)
Also, the second button from the right on the toolbar () is the signature button - it puts the name/time/date thing I keep posting. It took Robert months to figure that out, so I thought I'd help everyone be ahead of the curve. --thecubsfan 15:12, 15 August 2006 (CDT)
HEY! I... DAMNIT! Fine. Cubs is right though, the idea of the moves page was to use pictures of moves from Mexico. One day someone(sorry, I forget who it was... :/) uploaded a bunch of non-Lucha moves and instead of deleting them all we just left them there with the idea of replacing them when Lucha-influenced photos came along. Maybe that's what brought on some of the confusion.--Robert 15:29, 15 August 2006 (CDT)

I guess it isnt really relevant since it has been deleted now, but...
A LARIAT is done with the left arm. A Lariat is a type of clothesline. You can do a clothesline witrh either arm, but only the left can do a lariat. Why?
When a wrestler is training, they are taught to do strikes with the right hand, because most people are right handed, and thus the punches, etc are more accurate. On occasion, a lefty will throw a left handed punch or clothesline, and it is often a big deal (especially in Japan). People not knowing the difference (wrestlers, commentators, and fans alike) regularly use the terms Lariat and clothesline interchangably, but it is still wrong.
As far as Hansen goes (the most famous "Lariat" user), he ofthen clotheslines with his right, but when he pulls up the pad and signals the finish, he throws it with the left arm. In fact, he usualy only wears the pad on his left arm for this reason - to signal the lariat.

Biography
Currently one of the most popular technicos in CMLL, Dr. Wagner, Jr. is the legitimate son of lucha libre legend Dr. Wagner and the younger brother of Silver King.

Dr. Wagner, Jr. first started wrestling for Universal Wrestling Association in April 1986 at just 20 years of age. Expectations were high for Wagner Jr. as Dr. Wagner, Sr. became a legandary rudo, achieving notoriety in the ring and also on the silver screen. With his father acheiving his earliest and greatest success in EMLL, and so would it be for the son who adopted the mask of the "el Galeno del Mal".

Tragically on the very day that Dr. Wagner, Jr. was to make his in-ring debut as his father's tag-team partner, Wagner Sr. was involved in a horrific car accident that not only killed his long-time partner Angel Blanco, but left Wagner Sr. disabled and unable to continue his wrestling career.

Wagner's star has continued to rise in Mexico since his debut. He has won a variety of different titles for the CMLL promotion. Besides holding the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship, he has also been a Trios championship at least four times, including with Gran Markus. Jr. & Hijo del Gladiador and also with Blue Panther & Black Warrior. He has also wrestled extensively in Japan, challenging (and ultimately being defeated by) Jushin Liger for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship and tagging with various partners such as his brother and Kendo Kashin, the latter of which he won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. He has also competed in the U.S. as recently as January 2006.

Wagner is most popular when competing in the famed Arena México however, where his charismatic style and popular persona cause fans to blow airhorns three times and chant "WAG-NER!" when he's in the ring. Upon the death of his father, Wagner beame a sentimental fan favorite, and was suddenly a technico by default; Wagner was still wrestling as a rudo, but the fans began to cheer him. Soon Wagner rekindled his feuds with Atlantis and Canek, and was soon one of the most popular technicos in CMLL. In fact, in both his rivalries, it appeared the feuds were headed t a "mask versus mask" match, but in both cases the matches never came to pass. Soon Wagner was teaming with Místico regularly, as a mentor to the fast rising technico star.

Recently, Wagner has been engaged in a heated rivalry with L.A. Park, which apparently has boiled over from when Park unmasked Black Tiger III, revealing Silver King under the mask made famous first in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Biography
"Guerrero" is the Spanish word for "warrior" as well as a surname. His name is meant to be translated literally as "The Last Warrior".

Guerrero began his wrestling career in 1990, working for several years around his native Durango before getting noticed in the ill-fated Promo Azteca promotion with his training partner Super Punk. Soon, the duo changed thier names to Último Guerrero and Último Rebelde, and the tag team began working with a football hooligan gimmick. A tag team "masks vs. hair" match was announced, but Guerrero jumped to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in late 1997, and kept his mask intact. In CMLL, he wrestled mostly on the undercard with a mask win over Mr. Águila in 1998, mostly because Águila had already wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation without the mask.

In 1999, Guerrero, along with veteran Blue Panther, won the Gran Alternativa tournament, an annual tag team tournament where young wrestlers are paired with accomplished veterans. Shortly afterwards, Guerrero won a cibernético to determine the number one contender for Great Sasuke's NWA World Middleweight Championship. Guerrero was unsuccessful in capturing the title, but having a singles match in Arena México was a good showcase for Guerrero. Soon thereafter Guerrero began teaming with Rey Bucanero and the two were recruited by veteran Satánico to be part of a stable called Los Nuevos Infernales, a recreating of a popular rudo team from the early 1990s - Los Infernales. Guerrero and Bucanero were pushed as a tag team, winning a tournament in July 2000 with a finals win over Lizmark and Lizmark, Jr. for a shot at the CMLL World Tag Team Championship. A month later, the team defeated Mr. Niebla and Villano IV for the titles. Guerrero then sparked a feud with Negro Casas, winning a match over him on the last show of 2000.

In 2001, Guerrero and Bucanero turned on Satánico by helping Tarzan Boy defeat him in a singles match. Tarzan soon joined Guerrero and Bucanero and the group called themselves Los Guerreros de Infernal. Injuries caused Guerrero to become the de facto leader of the group, and Máscara Mágica ended up filling in for Tarzan for much of the year. Along with regular allies like Fuerza Guerrera and Black Warrior, Satánico recruited Averno and Mephisto to be part of his own Infernales group. The two groups feuded with each other over the name "Infernales." It was eventually settled in a seven man cage match where Mágica lost to Satánico and Guerrero's group could no longer use the name. They settled on Los Guerreros del Infierno and began to feud with Negro Casas and El Hijo del Santo over the tag titles. After a match with an inconclusive finish in September, Casas and Santo defeated Guerrero and Bucanero for their titles on November 2.

In May 2002, Guerrero and Bucanero defeated Santo and Casas to regain the tag titles, and shortly after winning the titles found themselves in a feud with Damián and Halloween of La Familia de Tijuana over the titles. Los Guerreros successfully defended their titles on July 5, and Guerrero and Bucanero spent the rest of the year fueding with Vampiro Canadiense and Shocker with another successful title defense against them on September 13. In December, Guerrero defeated Shocker for the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship, his first singles title and the most prestigious singles title in the promotion.

The feud continued into 2003 with Shocker defeating Guerrero in a non-title singles match, but losing with the title on the line a week later. Guerrero and Bucanero also defended the tag team titles successfully against Vampiro and Lizmark, Jr. When L.A. Park came into CMLL in December 2003, he aligned himself with Shocker and they immediately began to feud with Guerrero and Bucanero. The two teams traded the CMLL Tag Team Championship in early 2004. Atlantis and Blue Panther defeated Guerrero and Bucanero for their tag titles on June 25 in Los Guerreros' first title defense after winning the titles back from Shocker and L.A. Park. On CMLL's 71st anniversary show on September 17, Guerrero successfully defended the Light Heavyweight Championship against L.A. Park.

In 2005, Guerrero and the GdI targeted Místico, the rising star of CMLL. After a number of wins over GdI members, Guerrero squared off with Místico on February 25th, losing in two straight falls. This was not the end of Guerrero and Místico, as a series of matches featuring Guerrero and Bucanero against Místico and Dr. Wagner, Jr.. Guerrero also had a brief feud with Dos Caras, Jr. over the CMLL Light Heavyweight Championship where Guerrero successfully defeated the second generation star on May 27. Guerrero and Bucanero joined Universo 2000 in his feud with Perro Aguayo, Jr.'s Los Perros del Mal, leading to several rudo vs. rudo match-ups between the two groups.

Guerrero closed out the year by persuading Atlantis turn rudo and admitting him into Los Guerreros. Guerrero renamed the group Los Guerreros del Atlantida and tensions became more obvious between Buccanero, and the rest of the GdI. Buccanero appeared to be upset that Atlantis was receiving somuch attention from his long time friend and partner, but Buccanero was still firmly beside his friend in the feud against Los Perros. In May 2006, He successfully defended his Light Heavyweight title against Héctor Garza, and the main event of the show saw Bucanero and Tarzan Boy defeat Damián 666 and Mr. Águila in a double "hair vs. hair" match. The following week, Guerrero won a Grand Prix Torneo featuring wrestlers from Mexico, Japan and the United States. At the end of the month however, the tensions between he Buccanero came to a head, as Guerrero and Tarzan Boy turned on Bucanero, tearing up his GdA tights, signifying he was no longer a member of Los Guerreros.

Soon, the duo changed thier names to Último Guerrero and Super Punk and became Último Rebelde, and the tag team began working with a football hooligan gimmick.

When [[L.A.
