== Biography ==
Super Muñeco was a journeyman wrestler working as Sanguinario Jr. (no relation to the Sanguinario that died in 2002) and other names, who switched to Super Muñeco in the early 80s. When in the late 80s he was found by Ben Mora Jr., who at the time ran the Baja California area (Tijuana) and had just bought the "Lucha Libre" magazine from Valente Perez, he was given a big push right away. Just to put things into perspective, "Lucha Libre" was the magazine that 'created' characters like Mil Mascaras and Tinieblas, and it was pretty much like a Mexican Apter Mag, putting on the cover the "cool" guys they liked like Dos Caras, Canek, etc., so being featured on covers with Santo Jr. or Atlantis helped.

At first he was really resented and many old-schoolers would semi-shoot on him (they would work really stiff on him, potato him, etc. every night) because they hated to be selling for a clown, but eventually he proved himself as a good worker (back then he was sort of good) and good draw, so they all loved working with him.

His team with Super Raton (a little dude built like Mighty Mouse...sorta like a 5'3" Jim Duggan with the big chest) and Super Pinocho (Pinocchio). Pinocho was a poor worker but Raton used to be pretty good. They worked a fast comedy style, and soon became draws with the kids. For a short while, they were awesome draws, getting sellouts at Arena Mexico for a masks vs. masks match with the four NINJA TURTLES (they teamed with Coliseo 2000, who was Muñeco ?s protege), and drawing 17,500+ in Monterrey for a mask match against the THUNDERCATS (Leono, Tigro and Panthro).

One funny thing about the Ninja Turtle or Thundercats kind of gimmicks is that usually under the mask there would be an awesome underrated worker, like a Lasser or Skayde type.

Anyway, they got into AAA because they were almost tailor made for Peña's promotion as comedy workers who could do fun stuff, but their trio career in there got killed when Pinocho shoot unmasked Parka. Back in 1992 during the "TV boom" there was like 14 or 15 different magazines, and they would try anything to get some leverage over the others. For whatever reason, AAA banned "Titanes del Ring" photographers from taking pictures, but they eventually came back. Pinocho was best buddies with a photographer of "Titanes del Ring", who suggested him to unmask Parka so he could take a good picture, and the magazine next week would have a "FRAUD! Parka is Principe Island!" (his former gimmick) cover, which also served as revenge.

Pinocho got such heat for that, that he was blacklisted from AAA and many wrestlers vowed to shoot on him if they were with him in the ring. He even retired for a while so people would "forget".

Anyhow, that started the Muñeco singles push. His work was getting worse even though he could do athletic stuff, but his gimmick worked. He kind of failed in pushes as a major star, and totally bombed as a heel, but stayed a few good years in AAA and eventually left to become and independent contractor which is what he is now. His days of being a major draw are long gone, too, but he's still a fairly popular indy star.

Muñeco is also the wrestler with more RECORDED mask & hair match wins than anyone else. Apparently Estrella Blanca (some 60s and 70s indy star) is the one with more mask wins, with the legend claiming 200+, but we have a record of 20 or so from him.

He's won mask matches over legends such as Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, Mazinger Z (Majinga Z), Hombre Lobo (The Wolfman), Batman, Destroyer (wait until Yohe reads this one [Smile] ), The Police, Kamikaze Ninja (Yukihide Ueno, who was Battle Ranger in FMW and Policeman in Super Delfin's promotion), Ultra Tiger (a Tiger Mask clone, also was Ueno), Nazi Soldier and the Mummies from Peru I and II. Actually he's won a few semi-major hairs like Espanto Jr., Popitekus, Ray Richard and Medico Asesino Jr.

== Biography ==

Like his own name says, El Hijo del Santo is one of El Santo's sons (Santo had eleven children total) and the only one that followed his father's steps as a wrestling and film star.

Hijo Del Santo's pro wrestling debut was under the name and mask of Korak and without his father's consent. El Santo actually wanted to have one of his sons carry on his legacy for the years to come, however to get the nod to become a professional wrestler they would have to study a career at the university first, and when they had a degree, they could start wrestling.

A few months later after getting his Communication Science degree, Hijo del Santo made his "official" debut, this time wearing his father's mask and costume, teaming with Ringo Mendoza against Coloso Colosetti and Sangre Chicana in Nuevo Laredo, Tamps. Even though the fans and the media were happy to see Santo's junior, they all were very skeptical and it was generally thought and said that he'd never be nearly as good or as popular as his father was. Little did they know that even though he'd never become a cultural icon and mainstream personality like Santo, he'd be a considerably better wrestler after just a few months in the business.

"Santito" quickly impressed the crowds with his amazing aerial skills. His moveset is exactly the same than his father's - they used the same dives and they had the same signature moves - however the junior is smaller than the senior was so his flying is faster and smoother.

During his first years he wrestled in many different places from Mexico and Panama and also appeared at EMLL cards, however most of his work was for Carlos Maynes' UWA/LLI promotion and Benjamin Mora Jr.'s WWA. His Toreo de Cuatro Caminos debut was on July 22, 1983, teaming with Black Man and Matemático against Black Terry, Lobo Rubio and Blue Panther, and his Arena Mexico debut was on November 25, 1983, teaming with Atlantis against Lobo Rubio and Fuerza Guerrera. In that year 1983, he was selected rookie of the year.

His first title was the UWA World Lightweight title he got on October 28, 1984 defeating a young up-and-coming wrestler called Negro Casas, who would later become Santo's most memorable opponent ever. Casas was never able to regain that title that Santo lost to the original Aristóteles on July 14, 1985. Almost two weeks after that match (July 28), Santo showed to his masked opponent that you don't mess with The Man of the Silver Mask and defeated him in a mask vs. mask match at El Toreo de Cuatro Caminos. As if that wasn't enough, on [[September 1]] he regained the title and on November 27 he unmasked Aristóteles II!

Santo was Lightweight champion for two straight years until the [[September 13|13rd of September]] of 1987, date in which Espanto Jr. (whose mask Santo had taken on August 31, 1986) defeated him in a title match. The Santo Jr. vs. Espanto Jr. feud was sort of a revival of the classic encounters the seniors of these two had had some decades ago. Espanto Jr. was a very capable and underrated wrestler with historical name value and a good mask so he was the perfect rival for Hijo Del Santo. Of course Santo also took Espanto Jr's hair (August 2, 1987) and eventually regained the UWA Lightweight title (May 29, 1988).

Other than Espanto Jr., the most important opponent of Santo at the time was the already mentioned Negro Casas. Casas was a very charismatic second generation wrestler with great rudo skills and a really good worker as well, so he was a perfect opponent for Santo. The pinnacle of the Santo vs. Casas feud was reached on July 18, 1987 when they fought in a mask vs. hair match. Their match brought more than 7,000 fans to the L.A. Olympic Auditorium which is awesome considering that there was little-to-no publicity for this event on the local media and the only way people could know about it was through word of mouth.

Hijo Del Santo, along with a group of other Mexican wrestlers like Blue Panther, Super Astro and Fuerza Guerrera made their Japanese debut the 6/1/90 wrestling for Gran Hamada's Universal promotion. Santo's first Japanese match was a trios bout teaming with Kendo and Yoshihiro Asai (Ultimo Dragon) against Negro Casas, Fuerza Guerrera and El Cuchillo (who had already been in Japan wrestling as El Polaco). That Japanese tour was a successful one for Santo as a few days later, on June 7, he captured the WWA Welterweight Title by defeating Fuerza Guerrera. Santo made several other tours for that little promotion during 1990 and 1991.

On January of 1991, Santo vacated the UWA Light Heavyweight Title as he was heavier than he used to so now he belonged to the welterweight division. In fact, before vacating the Light Heavyweight title he had captured the UWA Welterweight Title defeating Charles Lucero in Monterrey (April 27, 1990) and the already mentioned WWA title.

Santo broke his relationship with WWA/Promociones Mora on November 91 and vacated the WWA title, though he still kept defending the UWA title in UWA and EMLL cards until he lost it against Espanto Jr. in a "phantom title change" in Gómez Palacio, Durango, on May 12, 1992. Of course that loss had a a reason behind it, as three days later AAA was born and Santo jumped ship.

In AAA Santo had several classic feuds. The first one was against another member of the Casas family, Erick Casas, also known as Heavy Metal, a young wrestler who was considered to be a better pure worker than his older brother "Negro". Santo (who defeated the Espanto Jr. on March 19, 1993 in Tijuana) was holding again the WWA Welterweight title which now was defended in AAA cards. AAA was all about making new young stars while keeping the big stars high, so Santo didn't have a problem to put over the brother of his best real-life friend in a title match - that was on May 14. Heavy was also given the National Welterweight title, which only fueled the Santo vs. Heavy feud even more.

Heavy lost both titles to Santo, but again, it was time to make a new star, and Santo lost both titles against Psicosis, whose superstar status got consolidated with those wins, especially the one the 3rd of May, 1995, in which Psicosis defeated the silver masked one clean in two straight falls to get the National Welterweight Title.

Though in reality, Santo's most memorable feud in AAA is the one against Eddy Guerrero and Love Machine. After the evil "gringos" declared war on him, he teamed with his old buddy Octagon and eventually won a 2 out of 3 Falls Double Hair vs. Double Mask Match against the two in a classic five-star match at AAA/IWC [[When Worlds Collide]] on November 6, 1994.

After Machine's sudden death and further misuse of Eddy Guerrero, around late February of 1995, Santo and Peña came up with a new character that could have a high profile feud with Santo: El Santo Negro (Black Santo), a dark, heel clone of Santo that supposedly came from South America to destroy him and take his mask. The man under the mask was Espanto Jr. (Jesús Andrade Salas) who feuded with Santito in the 80s. Non-wrestling members of the Santo family didn't like the idea of having an "evil Santo" and the character was dropped on April after they threatened with taking legal action if they kept using Santo Negro.

With no big feud on the booking shets, as he didn't really like the new approach that AAA was taking, on August 95 he returned to EMLL to revive his feud with Negro Casas, who he fought against on the big [[September 29]] card, a week after the Anniversary show.

CMLL's 1996 edition of the "International Grand Prix" (July 5) was the best they ever had as Tiger Mask and Great Sasuke from the Japanese promotion Michinoku Pro came to Arena Mexico for that event. The expected wrestlers reached the finals and Hijo Del Santo defeated Great Sasuke in a very good match to win the trophy.

The co-promotion with the small Japanese group continued as on November 96 Santo had a chance to return to Japan (the two post-Hamada's UWF times he had been there were on November 18, 94, when he lost the UWA Welterweight title to Norio Honaga at a New Japan Pro Wrestling card and on August 30, 1995 when he lost in a match for the vacant NWA World Junior Heavyweight title against Masayoshi Motegi at a Dream Factory card), to compete for Michinoku Pro's "1996 Tag League" in which he teamed with Super Delfin and reached the finals but lost to KAIENTAI (Dick Togo and MEN's Teio).

Santo and Casas kept feuding like always but soon the feud was going to take a weird, unexpected twist...

After the [[September 20]], 1996, 63rd Anniversary of EMLL show match in which Casas defeated Santo by DQ, the silver masked one disappeared for a few weeks so it looked like he was having a little vacation. Despite being a rudo Negro always was a extremely popular wrestler that always got lots of cheers, many times he was cheered louder than his tecnico opponents, so after he had a fallout with his partners Bestia Salvaje and Scorpio Jr. and turned tecnico, he quickly became the most popular wrestler in the company. Salvaje, who claimed to be sick and tired of Casas, told him that he had a little surprise for him that would be delivered during the November 22 Arena Mexico match which was announced to be a Bestia Salvaje, Scorpio Jr. and Felino vs. Negro Casas, Dandy and Hector Garza match.

Felino (Casas' real-life brother) came to ringside covered by a big cape and just watched the action at first. The big surprise was when Felino removed his cape - IT WAS SANTO! The shock value of that heel turn was really high not only because Santo had been one of the most popular babyfaces in Mexico for years, but also because NOBODY (and that includes sheet writers) expected it. So, in just a week, the "old and boring" Santo vs. Casas feud was the hottest event in the worldwide wrestling scene again. As a side note, Santo was only mostly booed and considered a true heel in Mexico City. As he claimed "he didn't want to be a rudo, but the circumstances forced him to" so he only was a rudo in Arena Mexico and he wrestled tecnico everywhere else.

This was just the perfect thing EMLL needed to pick up big business again. The following week (Nov 29), Santo, Scorpio and Bestia lost to Dandy, Casas and Garza in a really heated, wild, bloody and intense brawl. After the match, both Dandy and Casas challenged Santo to a mask vs. hair match next week, and it was finally decided that it would be a triangle match.

And as expected, the next week (Dec 6) Dandy lost his hair to Santo in a bloody, dramatic, psychology-laden match that is considered a true classic by most lucha fans. Of course, the feud didn't die here and several things happened after the Dandy loss.

Santo and Casas both carried their feud even to Japan as in Feburary of 1997, the Japanese "pseudo promotion" (as it's not a real promotion that runs all year, just a name to promote tours with different talent rosters every few months) CMLL Japan was born.

1997 was a year in which Santo competed a lot for the Tijuana-based Promociones Mora. On April 4, Negro Casas and Santo teamed for the first time ever to defeat the team of Scorpio Jr. and Bestia Salvaje. This piece of news didn't make it to Mexico City so nothing special happened afterwards. Earlier in the year (Feb 21) Santo had taken the WWA Welterweight Title from Rey Misterio Jr., and in that same match the feud between Santo/Misterio Jr & Sr/Misterioso was started, as Misterioso offered himself to be Santo's second, however Santo didn't like the offer so he was sent to the back after he complained about it for a long time.

On May 16, Misterioso and Santo defeated Rey Misterio Sr and Jr. The stipulation for this match is that the three losers would wrestle in a triangle match on June 6 putting their hair/mask on the line. So after winning the tag match, the partners had to fight each other and Santo defeated Misterioso. Out of curiosity, the match finally was Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Misterioso with no Rey Sr involved and on December 19. Misterioso was unmasked as Roberto Castillo, but Santo's involvement in that feud had already finished months ago.

With the public recognition of the Felino/Casas brothers relationship (a relationship that used to be a "well-known secret"), it was Santo's time to fight against Felino, who took the WWA Welterweight title from him on July 4, in a match with a very unique finish. Bestia Salvaje was seconding Santo and Casas was seconding his brother. During the closing moments of the match, Bestia Salvaje threw his towel to Casas' face in anger to hurt him. Casas was smart and threw Santo's towel to the ring, and when the ref turned back and saw Bestia without a towel, he gave the match to Felino.

But Santo and Casas kept building their rivalry for months until they wrestled each other on singles again: [[September 19]], 1997, 64th Anniversary Show, Arena Mexico. One of the longest awaited rematches of the century - mask vs. hair, again. Of course you can guess who won, but even that way it was a long awaited match as everybody knew it would be awesome and indeed it was, as they had an off-the-charts match with incredibly stiff work whose matwork was closer to the one of "worked shoot" Japanese promotions like the old UWF than to pure lucha matwork.

After that match Santo still kept wrestling as a rudo in Mexico City and a tecnico all over the republic, in fact he was the most over babyface in Tijuana, land of the nasty rudos.

A tecnico turn was being hinted as during November and December of that year, Scorpio Jr. kept attacking Santo and trying to unmask him. The 17th, at a Arena Mexico card, the team of Santo, Scorpio Jr and Villano III lost to Negro Casas, Fiera and Pantera, and after the match Scorpio and Villano turned on Santo for costing them the match.

Around that time CMLL was promoting the "Leyenda de Plata" (Silver Legend) trophy, which was an special event in honor of El Santo (Sr.). There would be a 16-man cibernetico tournament with the winner competing against Hijo Del Santo over the trophy, which was a plaque with an original Santo mask in it. The 24th, Scorpio Jr. won that tournament, and a week later he defeated Santo in a match to win the trophy. Scorpio Jr. moved out of the way when Santo was going for his patented running tope suicida so Santo was counted out, and later stretchered out.

Santo didn't fully turn tecnico until [[September 11]], during a Fiera, Casas and Atlantis versus him, Fuerza Guerrera and Villano III match. Santo "mistakenly" used a Tope de Cristo onto Fuerza as he missed his target Negro Casas, and later on the match he picked up Casas so he wouldn't receive a senton from Fuerza. After the rudos lost, Villano and Fuerza beat down Santo until the tecnicos made the save, but then Scorpio Jr. and Bestia Salvaje ran in and a huge brawl ensued. A week later, on [[September 18]], Santo was already wrestling tecnico and teaming with Casas, Atlantis and Fiera defeated the team of Villano III, Fuerza Guerrera, Scorpio Jr. and Bestia Salvaje.

The most shocking event of this turn is that long time enemies Santo and Casas showed mutual respect for each other and started teaming together in a regular basis, and of course they also teamed in six-man matches with Casas' brother, El Felino.

During the following months the new alliance kept feuding with Bestia Salvaje and Scorpio Jr. The team of Bestia and Scorpio captured the vacant CMLL Tag Team titles on November 13 by defeating Dr. Wagner Jr. and Satanico in the tournament finals, and as expected, Santo and Casas showed interest in those belts.

Bestia and Scorpio retained the titles against Santo and Casas ten days later after winning them at a house show in Puebla, but this match wasn't televised so it wasn't seen as "the big challenge". That challenge actually was on February 5 when Santo and Casas won the titles at a Arena Coliseo card, but as they won via disqualification (as the commissioner DQ'd Salvaje for having a ringside brawl with Perro Aguayo) they refused to take the titles. Those titles were vacated, rather than returned to their previous owners, but the rudos got them again as on February 26 at Arena Mexico, they defeated Santo and Casas after Salvaje pinned Negro, who had been fouled by Scorpio.

But the big challenge that had been hinted during months was finally issued and the 19th of March, both teams faced in a double hair/mask vs. hair/mask match. After that match, Scorpio Jr. was revealed to be Rafael Nuñez while Bestia was getting his hair shaved, but Santo and Casas didn't have enough and on April 2 they won the CMLL tag titles via DQ, but this time they accepted the belts. From then on the feud didn't die but it kept losing the interest it had.

Not a lot after that match, Santo had a dispute with the EMLL office regarding money so he was off EMLL TV for a while, however he kept delivering all over Mexico, and also the United States. He eventually returned to TV, though.

Ever since the day of his debut with the silver mask, El Hijo Del Santo had a really hard task to accomplish - he had to show that he deserved wearing that mask and that he wasn't just a son of Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta trying to make easy money out of his father's legacy. During the years he has been wrestling he has had countless excellent matches and if we are taking longevity, drawing power and match quality into account he is the most important wrestler Mexico has had in the last twenty years which is quite a feat considering both the quantity and the quality of talent that Mexico has produced during that time.

Hola y perdón por el español, estaba escribiendo esto en Ingles pero me cuesta mucho trabajo, espero puedan leerlo. Quería saber la razón por la que borraron el archivo de Beth Phoenix que cree la semana pasada, me dicen que ella no cuenta como luchador, realmente no la conozco bien pero tengo un DVD de Unforgiven 2007 en donde pelea contra Candice Michelle por el campeonato de la WWE y ambas son excelentes luchadoras, si de verdad quieren borrar a gente que no son verdaderos luchadores deberían de empezar por borrar a [[Poncho de Nigris]] y toda la gente que lucha en su arena de Monterrey, o a gente como [[Violento Jack]] que dan la impresión de ser fanáticos que se disfrazan de luchadores

Leí sobre las reglas para crear biografías, y me parece que dice que los administradores decidieron que Lucha Wiki trataba solo sobre promociones de Lucha Libre Mexicana, creo que este es un gran error, por si no se han dado cuenta Lucha Wiki ya es un enorme monstruo alimentado día a día por los usuarios y fanáticos de la lucha en general y no solo de la lucha libre mexicana, desde mi punto de vista la Lucha mexicana es la mejor del mundo por muchas razones, pero creo que tratar solo sobre ella es cerrarse a muchos otros estilos de lucha libre, además muchos de estos luchadores vienen a México a luchar y no por esos les vamos a considerar que ya luchan al estilo mexicano, al igual que muchos mexicanos luchan en EUA o Japón y no por eso pierden su estilo

Otra razón es que al hacer la página en Ingles la han hecho internacional, por lo tanto no veo porque no sea internacional también su contenido, creo que como ya les dije estos son los que crean día con día la página, y me gustaría creer que los usuarios son de todas partes del mundo y les gustaría ver a sus luchadores favoritos junto a grandes leyendas de la lucha libre mexicana

Por último creo que algunas decisiones las deberían hacer tomando mas en cuneta la opinión de los usuarios, púes aunque ustedes hayan creado y administren la página son los usuarios quienes están haciendo mas modificaciones, así que ya no se trata solo del gusto de ustedes, al editar archivos hay una advertencia que dice que si no quieres que te critiquen lo que pones o que lo borren, no lo pongas, creo que esta regla debería empezar con ustedes, si no quieren que les modifiquen su página o que les destruyan el contenido púes no la creen o háganla de contenido estático en donde pongan solo lo que a ustedes les interese

== Biography ==

Alushe, this ewok-like creature who has the appearance of a... a something with legs, first appeared on the lucha scene in 1988 as a mini-mascot for Tinieblas, who was looking to relaunch his career. Alushe was an instant hit and he became a popular character who thrilled fans from young to old with his antics.

In reality, we know very little about Alushe. In the Tinieblas comics, they claim that Alushe was born in Ciudad Anahuac, located in Shibalba, which is some sort of planet located in another dimension. With all the dimensions there must be out there, he had to land EXACTLY here. Anyway, in his youth he wanted to be a warrior but he was rejected for being too short, and somehow, Tinieblas got stuck with the dwarf. They claim that he's got magical powers, which is something I can actually believe. You see guys like Dr. Wagner Jr., whose opponents have a lot of trouble to take them down. Even the quickest and smartest Mexican tecnicos like Mr. Niebla or Hijo del Santo, and the powerful Japanese titans like Jushin Liger always have a hard time with the Doc. However, Alushe just needs a few chops and kicks to put the big man down. How ELSE would you explain THIS?!?!?

Lucha insider Bob Barnett says that Alushe actually started out as a hairball in the tropical south of Mexico and with the moist weather, mold set in and he grew to his current size. He also explains that his unique walk is caused by constant constipation. Actually, that's a good theory, but it doesn't explain why Alushe always handles the rudos so easily. Because Alushe has CLEAN pinfall victories over all three Dinamita Brothers, all the Guapos, Dr. Wagner Jr., Satanico, Pirata Morgan, MS-1, Pierroth Jr., Gran Markus Jr., Blue Panther and an almost infinite list of rudos. Buzz around the lucha community says that even the mighty Mil Mascaras is jealous of our furry friend's win-loss record!

Alushe is small, but not EVERYTHING about him is THAT small! The guy's a stud. He's the proud father of two children, and his wife is none other than Konnan's former girlfriend! That's right folks, Konnan couldn't get the job done - but Alushe did. But I guess this doesn't say a lot about the poor woman.

Little Alushe also loves kids. Not in a Michael Jackson loves kids kinda way, though. Well, at least I think so... though you never know... and on CMLL TV we saw those "Alushe's birthday parties" full of kids, so... anyway, he also has shown us his most "human" side (whatever that means). Once, famous rudo Pierroth offered him a deal that nobody with more than three braincells (rumor says Alushe has four) could reject. Well, actually, Violencia (Pierroth's stable mate) kidnapped Alushe and Pierroth promised Tinieblas that he'd eat his mascot. Pierroth had already prepared the big soup bowl and was ready for the party, but he noticed that Alushe wouldn't taste too good with all that hair, and he didn't smell particulary well either, so in order to anger Tinieblas, he offered that great deal to Alushe: WOMEN, CANDY and MONEY, but he'd have to pay allegiance to Puerto Rico! Alushe accepted, but needless to say, he didn't last a lot as a Boricua. We all know about his sex-appeal, so getting women (or female Alushe's or whatever) isn't a problem, and he can get candy and money working with Tinieblas, since Alushe legitimally gets gets a paycheck as big as Tinieblas' when they perform in any arena or event. All in all, this is more than you needed to know about Alushe (as I'm sure that reading the "Alushe having two kids" part gave you a sick visual about Alushe at his best), but friendly advice would be to stay away from this little dude if you ever see him on the street, especially if your kids are there. == Biography ==
Raymundo Cuesta Veloz, "Kung Fu", was found dead yesterday (5th of January) in his home, located at the Calle Correspondencia 51 of La Colonia Álamos. It's known that he was having some arterial hypertension, though he wasn't feeling bad lately and was having a normal life.

He was born on January 20, 1951, so he was about to turn 50 at the moment of his death. His son [[Kung Fu Jr.]] had lost track of him since Wednesday, so he went home to see what was up, and found his father laying dead in the living room. It was later found out that he died on Wednesday after a heart attack, though there's some speculation in Mexico that the death was caused by other factors.

As requested by the family, his body was cremated the 6th of January at a crematory from la Colonia San Nicolás Tolentino, Delegación Itzapalapa, Distrito Federal (a different source said Calle Bismark, 25, in La Colonia Moderna). He's survived by his sons [[Kung Fu Jr.]] (26), Jonathan (14) and Erik (23), his daughter Isís Mayte (20) and his widow María Elena Geraldo. Several of his friends, including [[Kato Kung Lee]] and [[Atlantis]], attended the funeral. During the funerary services, a Kung Fu mask was put over the casket.

He made his debut in 1968 under the name Ray Acosta. Since Costa and Acosta sound similar, there's a lot of controversy, but I think that his real name is actually Cuesta. I don't know much about him in this period, but he had a hair vs. mask match with [[Villano III]], and we know the result. He then briefly wrestled as El Estudiante (he made his debut under that name in a Monterrey 1971 match against Dr. Misterio) until he lost his mask to [[Villano III]], then he wrestled again as Ray Acosta, but sometime during 1975, he switched to Kung Fu and became a star with "Los Coliseinos" (EMLL). His debut as Kung Fu was a high profile one, as he teamed with [[El Santo]] to take on [[Angel Blanco]] and [[Ray Mendoza]].

He wrestled as a singles competitor and had this "martial artist" style, mixing comedy, martial art kicks and fast paced lucha, which got him over real fast. On September 26, 1977 he defeated [[Fishman]] in Guadalajara to capture the National Welterweight Title. He traded the title with [[Fishman]] once (loses it 77/11/23 in Guadalajara, captures it 78/04/02 in Mexico City) and then lost it for good to [[Americo Rocca]] on December 10 in Guadalajara.

Around the 77-78 time frame he started teaming with [[Kato Kung Lee]] from Panamá who wrestled the same style. Their biggest accomplishment as a team was winning the masks Los Jalisco [[El Jalisco I|I]] y [[El Jalisco II|II]] (Apolo Castillas and D. Gallegos) on October 27, 1978 at La [[Arena México]].

In late 1979 he formed the "El Triangulo Oriental" trio with [[Kato Kung Lee|Kato]] and [[Satoru Sayama]]. [[Kato Kung Lee|Kato]] and Kung Fu made their debut for UWA in El Toreo during mid-81, and soon they were put in a trio with [[Black Man|Black Man I]] (who was a "martial artist" as well) called "Los Tres Fantásticos". This was when El Toreo was the #1 lucha building in Mexico in terms of attendance. They were over huge due to their style, and in my opinion, [[Black Man|Black Man I]] was the best worker, then [[Kato Kung Lee|Kato]] and then Kung Fu. In 1984, they were [[UWA]] trios champions. They also wrestled some as a team for [[EMLL]], maybe as a part of the brief EMLL/UWA talent exchanges during 83/84.

Kung Fu stayed with [[EMLL]] and I think that [[Kato Kung Lee|Kato]] went independent (wrestling a lot for Mora in Tijuana) and [[Black Man]] stayed with UWA (where he lost his mask to [[Blue Panther]]).

On October 17, 1986, Kung Fu beat [[Gran Cochisse]] to capture the NWA Middleweight Title. He lost it on July 17, 1987 to Dandy, regained it on October 6, and lost it to [[Atlantis]] on July 10, 1988. [[Kato Kung Lee|Kato]] lost his mask to [[El Hijo del Santo |Santo Jr.]] in 1986, and then he had a feud with Kung Fu. They had a hair vs. mask match on April 1988 which Kung Fu won.

During the years Kung Fu formed several independent versions of Los Fantasticos, one of them with Avispón Negro and [[El Monarca]]. KKL and [[Black Man]] also tried to revive the trio several times with little success, since the gimmick wasn't effective at all unless you were masked.

Kung Fu lost his mask in a very famous match against Atlantis on October 26, 1990 at La Arena Mexico. That's when his career started going downhill, mostly because he lost the mask and he aged badly - looked ancient and he moved really slow.

He had a big initial unmasked push as a nasty heel who uses nunchucks and other foreign objects to punish the nice tecnicos like Kato (who was back with EMLL and eventually took Kung Fu's hair), Octagon (the new "martial artist") or Atlantis, but after a year or so he was used as a stepping stone for younger guys, for instance César Dantés, to whom he lost his hair on November 22, 1992 at Arena Mexico.

CMLL kept him around until 1994 or so, then he wrestled as an independent. His son Kung Fu Jr. made his debut in that year 1994 as well. In 1996 he had a match for the vacant "World Martial Arts Title" with Kato. The first fall was a Kung-Fu match, the second fall was karate, and the third one was lucha. He lost that match.

During the last years he wasn't very active in the ring (no pun intended) as he was working for the Public Services of the Mexican Government. However when they called him to start the new GWAS promotion, he came back to lucha. He was scheduled to be in a four way tag team "relevos increibles de apuestas" teaming with Kato Kung Lee Jr. vs. Kung Fu Jr/Kato Kung Lee Sr. and two other teams, though this card was cancelled and postponed.

As a final note, during his career, Kung Fu also won the masks of Orange Rain, El Indio, La Momia and La Muerte de la Barranca, and he appeared at several films of Santo, Capulina and Los Polivoces.

Pocos son los luchadores de presumir un lugar privilegiado alas empresas donde se paran y este caso es aplicado en Shocker, originario de Guadalajara Jalisco pero con formaciones en Estados Unidos, Shocker se convirtio en uno de los pilares del CMLL por muchos años, ademas de ser un luchador Internacional y de poderoso reconocimiento.

Su vide deportiva comienza a incios de los años 90´s en la Arena Coliseo de Occidente, bajo las enseñansas de hombres como el Diablo Velasco y Flash, los encargados de formar los talentos de esa Arena en Guadalajara. Rapidamente despues de su debut por el estilo que tenia se hizo un estelar indiscutible de esta Arena y fue llamado para la EMLL habida de talentos despues de la desvandada que sufrio tras el surgiemiento de la AAA. Su imagen gusto y participo en un Torneo de la Gran Alternativa junto a Silver King pero no logro obtenerlo. Era ya un luchador que estaba en los eventos especiales de la Arena Mexico y Coliseo, y tras una rivalidad en contra de veterano es puesto en la estelar apostando su Mascaras y ganado la incognita de Kahoz, viejo conocido como Astro Rey en los 70 y partes de los 80.

En 1998 formo una de las parejas mas espectaulares de la epoca en compañia de Mr. Niebla llegando a coronarse como Campeones Mundiales de Parejas del CMLL derrotando y defendiendo el cetro ante hombres como los Dinamita, Wagner Jr. y Satanico y los Intocables. En 1998 comienzan los pleitos entre este duo y Shocker se cambia al bando de los rudos, cuestion que desperto mas el pleito entre Shocker y Mr. Niebla, y fue tal que llegaron al duelo de Mascara en la Arena Mexico junto al Villano III y Atlantis, Shocker fue desenmascarado en lo que ha sido la unica derrota sufrida en duelos de apuestas. Se dio a conocer el nombre de Jair Soria, hijo del ex luchador tapatio Pato Soria.

La insertidumbre del haber sido desenmascarado ivadio alos aficionados mas no asi a Shocker que lejos de caer en su carrera, su potencial y popularidad se disparo hasta lo mas alto del deporte de la Lucha Libre. Apartir de ese momento nacio no l Shocker Luchador si no el Shocker Guapo, Altivo, burlon, poderoso, valiente y fanfarron en el cuadrilatero, fue tan aceptado ese comcepto que junto a Bestia Salvaje y Scorpio Jr. formo LOS 1000& GUAPO, en esos momento Emilio Charles Jr. comenzo rivalidad en contra de Shocker y haciendo que sus socios lo traicionaran provoco el duelo de Cabelleras en la Arena Mexico entre ellos y Shocker derroto al Rey del Beautiful despues de mas de 10 años sin perder la melena ... Shocker se colocaba ya no como una promesa de la lucha libre si no mas bien como el surgiemiento de uno de los nuevos ya consagrados estelares de la Lucha Libre en Mexico...

Los viajes a Japon no se hicieron pues en mas de 20 ocasiones ha sido llamado para hacer campaña en ese pais. Despues de la disolucion de los 1000% Guapos se une a Mascara Magica y forman la Universidad del 1000% Guapo, certamen que servia como escaparate para que luchadores de provincia seles diera una oprotunidad dentro del CMLL, el ganador de la Universidad de los Guapos se llevaria el lugar de tercer Guapo para asi ser la nueva tercia de los 1000% Guapos, la regla era ser un luchador desenmascarado y de ahy nacieron a nivel nacional luchadores como Mr. Power, Genetico (Sagrado) y novetos del CMLL se cimentaron como Tony Rivera, Zumbido, Ricky Marvin y demas, el ganador fue el Terrible y se formo de nuevo el concepto de los 1000% Guapos segunda version. rapidamente las rivalidades nacieron ahora en contra de los Talibanes, tercia integradas por los antoguos Guapos y comandada por Charles Jr.

Durante el 2003 Shocker tomo una muy fuerte rivalidad en contra de un Monstruo de la Lucha, Vampiro Canadiense invicto en duelos de cabelleras y con poderoso record en duelos Mano a mano, en Abril del 2003 llegan a un duelo de apuestas en donde Shocker demuestra su maestria y los derrota para asi dejar por primera vez en su carrera al de Canada. Poco despues rapo a Mascara Año 2000 en Puebla y despues festejando el 70 Aniversario de la Lucha en Mexico en la lucha estelar en la Arena Mexico tambien por primera ves en su carrera Tarzan Boy (Hoy Toscano) es derrotado por Guapo dejando su cabellera en el cuadrilatero. Sin duda en este aepoca Shocker era el mejor luchador de Mexico, el mas solicitado, mas valuado, mas seguido, estaba en el punto mas alto de su carrera que segui en ascenso.

Para el 2004 derrota al Vampiro Canadiense y se apodera del Cetro Mundial Semicompleto de la NWA, ademas de que en una lucha en Jaula rapara a Scorpio Jr. para tiempo despues volver a hacerlo ahora en ruleta de la Muerte. En Tijuna en una lucha catalogada como la mejor de esa ciudad en el 2004 logro rapar a Hallowen, luchador conocido por agerrido, fuerte y extremo. En esos momentos en el CMLL se encoentraba la segunda generacion de la Universidad de los Guapos y que esta ves sirviera para el nacimiento de gentes como Texano Jr, Brazo de Oro Jr. (Mascara), Maximo, Loco Max, Koreano y demas...

El 2005 fue el año de los cambios en Shocker, a incios de ese año es nominado a los premios deportivos de Televisa y queda en segundo lugar al ser derrotado por Parka AAA. En el CMLL gana el torneo de la Copa Jr. derrotando en la final al Dr. Wagner Jr. En ese ali comienza la campaña en Estados Unidos con la empresa de la TNA-NWA comenzando asi una carrera interesante pues es tomando en cuenta dentro de los pesos cruceros, su campaña tenia exito y fue cuando en Mexico se anuncio uno de los cambios mas importantes en su carrera. En Abril del 2005 se anuncia su salida del CMLL, los motivos cambiar de aires y emigra ala Polemica AAA comandada por Antonio Peña, Shocker fue recibido como una super estrella. Se topo con tivalidad con honbres como Cibernetico, Konan y un eterno como Vampiro Canadiense. Su estadia en AAA fue de bastantes altibajos pues no tubo una regularidad en las estelares aunque era una estrella nata en esa empresa. gana la cabellera de Sangre Chicana, ese fue el unico duelo que se puede recordar de el en la AAA. Tambien junto con el emigra el concepto de los Guapos Ahora formados por el nombre de los Guapos VIP comandados por Shocker e integrados por hombres como Alla Stone, Zumbido y el mismo Scorpio Jr. hombre que tubiera fuerte rivalidad con el tiempo atras.

A incios del 2006 se registra la muerte del Guaro Rangel, uno de los referis mas reconocido en la historia de la Lucha Libre y el momento preciso para que Shocker y el CMLL volvieran a tener acercamientos de negocios, fue tal que Shocker abandona la AAA para integrarse de nuevo al grupo del CMLL y llega como lo que es, una Super Estrella de la Lucha Libre. Se integra a una version de los Perros del Mal en compañia de Perrom Aguayo Jr. y Hector Garza llegando a disputar en el Aniversario de la Lucha Libre el cetro Mundial de Tercias pero perdiendo la Lucha causa que desprendio la salida de Shocker de los Perros del Mal. Shocker molesto abandona la agrupacion y regresa al bando que mas le ha dado triunfos, a los Tecnicos. En ese bando se topa con los Perros del Mal en especial con Garza que no pasa solo del pleito. A finales del 2006 se enfrasca en rivalidad contra Marco Corleone y Kenzo y en Diciembre del 2006 llegan al duelo de cabellera derrotando a los extranjeros junto a Universo 2000.

Shocker es un lider del deporte y por ello decide integrar de nuevo otro Grupo de Luchadores ahora dejando descansar el concepto de los Guapos que ya estaba muy utilizado y mejor cambia por el de la Hisgh Society, cuatro luchadores incluido Shocker que se dedican no solo a luchar si no tambien a mostrarse en el ring con presunciones de ellos, ademas de fanfarronear con algunas acciones. Rey Bucanero y los exportados Marcor Corleone y Alex Koslov inetgran este Grupo.

En la actualidad Shocker es de los luchadores mas valuados en Mexico, de estados Unidos por parte de la WWE Hna llegado propuestas por sus servicios, sin duda es uno de los elementos mas completos, estelares y populares que hay en Mexico y que sin duda es de los que mejor lugar gozan en el deporte. Mexico, Panama, Centro America, Puerto Rico, Estados Unidos y Japon han sabido de su poderio.

Juana Barraza was a serial killer from Mexico City; she murdered several old women for to steal them. Knowing in independent arenas as “La Dama del Silencio” (The Lady of the silence) was a rudo fighter.

She was arrested in January 25, 2006 due to the murder of Ana María de los Reyes Alfaro, a 89 years woman, and was accused by the murder of more than 40 old women.

The event took place on November 8, 1994 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena and is credited as being the first introduction of the Lucha Libre phenomenon to a North American Audience. The event was available in both English and Spanish, as Chris Cruise and current [[TNA]] commentator Mike Tenay performed the English commentary, and [[Arturo Rivera]] and Andres Maronas handled the Spanish commentary.

When Worlds Collide is most remembered for it's semi-main event: a double hair versus double mask, two-out-of-three falls match that pitted [[Los Gringos Locos]] members [[Art Barr]] & [[Eddie Guerrero]] (the rudo team) against the team of [[Octagon]] & [[El Hijo Del Santo]] (the tecnicos). The match was built around the former partnership between not only [[Eddie Guerrero]] and [[El Hijo Del Santo]], but also around the former partnership of their fathers ([[Gory Guerrero]] and [[El Santo]]); Both men claimed that one carried the other throughout the partnership, as well as claiming that their father carried the other's father throughout the partnership.

Allegedly, there were backstage problems prior to the show, as WCW production decided to cut the broadcast down 45 minutes from the original run time, resulting in all of the undercard matches becoming one-fall to a finish. In addition, Art Barr and Octagon were removed from the booking sheet and booked as seconds to their partners. In addition, the tag team semi-main event was cut down from 30 minutes to 20 minutes.

== Biography ==


Made his pro-wrestling debut on October 11, 2000, teaming with his father Dos Caras to defeat El Azteca and Chiba, in an event promoted by the Japanese independent promotion KAGEKI PRO WRESTLING. This card was held in Shimonoseki and reports said that the junior looked very good for a rookie.

Before turning pro, Caras Jr. was a member of the Mexican national team in Greco-Roman wrestling for five years, and he placed third at the World Junior Championships in 1997 (held in Czech Republic), won the Central-American games three times and also won a medal at the Pan-Am games. He was looking forward to compete in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, but due to lack of support, politics and government problems Mexico could not send any representatives to the Olympic wrestling competition so he turned pro instead.

Made his AAA debut on [[September 4|9/4]] when he ran-in during a match involving his father, that was getting beat up by Texano, Pirata Morgan and Espectro Jr., but his first actual match was on [[September 29]], 2000, in AAA's "Verano de Escándalo" supershow. He teamed with Alebrije, Sangre Chicana and La Parka Jr. to beat "Los Consagrados" (Pirata Morgan, Espectro Jr., El Texano and El Cobarde).

During his first months he has feuded with the veteran stable of "Los Consagrados" and on January 21, 2001, he failed (teaming with his father) to conquer Texano and Pirata Morgan's National Tag Team Titles.

There's no doubt that Dos Caras Jr. is one of the real stars of the future. He's got size, name value, charisma and it looks like he's going to develop into an excellent wrestler.


== Notes ==

Dos Caras Jr. has been pushed as a top heavyweight tecnico since joining [[CMLL]], but he lacks a notable feud at the moment. He's had mini feuds with [[Ultimo Guerrero]], [[Universo 2000]] and [[Kenzo Suzuki]], formed a team with [[Lizmark Jr.]], and done some work as a trio with [[Dr. Wagner Jr.]] and [[Mistico]], but really hasn't had a monumental feud.

Dos is always on the side of good, and pushed as an agile guy for his size. Dos has also done some MMA fighting - sometimes with his mask and sometimes without - and he's incorporated submissions to his fighting style. He's still an unfinished guy in the ring, but he's likely the best of guys in CMLL his size and his age.
