It was rumored Mascara Divina would be cut from AAA if he did not lose weight. He was temporarily replaced as Super AAA, but did drop the weight, and been given his gimmicks back. Took over the Alebrije gimmick when AAA wanted to continue using it after the [[El Alebrije|original]] had left. Briefly surrendered it to [[Maldito Jr.]] but since regained it.<br />

As of 2023, claims to be still employed by AAA despite not working TV, likely to keep the Alebrije gimmick going for copyright purposes. The reality is more likely that he's the local indie promoter who works with AAA in [[Puebla]] and gets inroads that way. He works largely spot shows featuring AAA guys, and has developed something of a rivalry with [[Black Alebrije]] in true AAA fashion.<br />

AAA's put new people in the outfit to keep it alive (and maintain their claim), but it's only rarely been used on TV since the original left. The original continues the name Alebrije on independent shows, and uses [[Kraneo]] on CMLL's shows.<br />
