== Biography ==


Made his pro-wrestling debut on August 11, 2000, teaming with his father Dos Caras to defeat El Azteca and Chiba, in an event promoted by the Japanese independent promotion KAGEKI PRO WRESTLING. This card was held in Shimonoseki and reports said that the junior looked very good for a rookie.

Before turning pro, Caras Jr. was a member of the Mexican national team in Greco-Roman wrestling for five years, and he placed third at the World Junior Championships in 1997 (held in Czech Republic), won the Central-American games three times and also won a medal at the Pan-Am games. He was looking forward to compete in the Sydney 2000 Olympics, but due to lack of support, politics and government problems Mexico could not send any representatives to the Olympic wrestling competition so he turned pro instead.

Made his AAA debut on [[September 4|9/4]] when he ran-in during a match involving his father, that was getting beat up by Texano, Pirata Morgan and Espectro Jr., but his first actual match with AAA was on [[September 29]], 2000, in AAA's "Verano de Escándalo" supershow. He teamed with Alebrije, Sangre Chicana and La Parka Jr. to beat "Los Consagrados" (Pirata Morgan, Espectro Jr., El Texano and El Cobarde).

During his first months he has feuded with the veteran stable of "Los Consagrados" and on January 21, 2001, he failed (teaming with his father) to conquer Texano and Pirata Morgan's National Tag Team Titles.

There's no doubt that Dos Caras Jr. is one of the real stars of the future. He's got size, name value, charisma and it looks like he's going to develop into an excellent wrestler.



== Notes ==
Dos Caras Jr. has been pushed as a top heavyweight tecnico since joining [[CMLL]], but he lacks a notable feud at the moment. He's had mini feuds with [[Ultimo Guerrero]], [[Universo 2000]] and [[Kenzo Suzuki]], formed a team with [[Lizmark Jr.]], and done some work as a trio with [[Dr. Wagner Jr.]] and [[Mistico]], but really hasn't had a monumental feud.

Dos is always on the side of good, and pushed as an agile guy for his size. Dos has also done some MMA fighting - sometimes with his mask and sometimes without - and he's incorporated submissions to his fighting style. He's still an unfinished guy in the ring, but he's likely the best of guys in CMLL his size and his age.

2009

Dos Caras Jr. turned heel shocking many in CMLL. Briefly feuding with Shocker. Caras then signed on with the WWE, he has yet to appear in WWE television but is believed to currently be working with the FCW promotion, a developmental territory for the WWE.

CMLL tecnico. The Horuz name is new, but he's in about the same spot.

Debuted in late 2007. as '''El Hijo del Faraon''', with the original [[El Faraon]] presenting him the mask in [[Arena Coliseo Guadalajara]], and treated like a big deal...for two weeks, then disappearing. He turned up on the indies for a bit, before being brought into CMLL Mexico City in the summer of 2008. Seemed to have promise, but got lost in the shuffle compared to the other [[Gen75]] wrestlers brought in at the same time, and could not crack the first or second match.

That year might have just been a training run. Hijo del Faraon vanished in February of 2009, and '''Horuz''' debuted in June of the same year. He's struggled since debuting on that name, and has fallen in compared to those of his generation.

It should be noted Horuz is not related to El Faraon. Both men have explained his use of Hijo del Faraon as Faron being almost like a godfather to him, so it seemed like a good idea. They say they became uncomfortable with the deception and decided to end it. Horus has said he considered using the name Nieto el Angel Blanco instead, but felt there were too many who've used the name already.

During his absence from CMLL, Horus apparently masqueraded as [[Rey Misterio Jr.]] Misterio's popularity greatly increased in the late 00s, due to his matches in WWE being broadcast in many countries. It was not uncommon for promoters in Latin countries or areas who could not bring in WWE to instead bring in substitutes. Usually, [[Hijo de Rey Misterio]] was misleading advertised as his famous cousin, but Horus did the same for one appearance in Bolivia.

== Biography ==

Son of former luchador Roy Aguirre, after being trained by his father and Chico Hernández, he made his professional debut at Arena México, which is something that very few can say. EMLL was in real need of new talent as AAA took away a lot of their youngsters, so they thought about this man and had him debut in the first match of a card at The Cathedral.

EMLL head Paco Alonso came up with the mask, name and costume for Olímpico, and Sr. José Vargas González was his "padrino" and bought him his first outfit.

He was in the first and second match of the night during years, mostly teaming with Olimpus until he got his first push in 1996.

He started a feud with Damián El Guerrero and took his hair in the biggest match of his career until that point, on August 6, 1996 at Arena Coliseo.

Olímpico always showed a lot of talent in the ring and he definitely deserved the push he was getting. From then on he moved up a bit on the cards and became a regular mid-card feature, often teaming with respected veterans like Lizmark or Super Astro.

His small push was working as expected and his performance was improving a real lot, so he on September 16, 1998 he beat Karloff Lagarde Jr. at La Arena Coliseo to win the CMLL Welterweight Title.

Olímpico headlined Arena México twice on October 23th and 30th in singles matches against Halcón Negro (Jorge Luis Herrera). In the first match, he lost the CMLL Welterweight Title, and in the second one, he unmasked Halcón!

He regained the Welter title shortly thereafter as he defeated Halcón on December 13 at Arena Coliseo. He had a short, but nice reign again, as he lost the title to the Japanese wrestler Super Delfín on Feburary 27, 1999 in Nagoya, Japan. However, on February 16, he had a successful Arena Coliseo title defense in which he defeated a respected legend like Fuerza Guerrera.

During mid-to-late 99 he had a heated feud with Rey Bucanero, with tons of mask ripping and hints from the commentators. It was known by many lucha fans that Bucanero was going to lose his mask (as a punishment for wrestling unmasked in the United States -WWF-) and everybody predicted a big mask vs. mask match between them, however it was Shocker who took Rey's mask.

The 1st of February of year 2000, Olimpico and Mr. Niebla won an Arena Coliseo one-night tournament defeating Blue Panther and Rencor Latino in the finals. Panther wanted his revenge so a singles match challenge was issued, and a week later, Olímpico got a huge win over Panther.

Other two important wins were on July 27, when he took Brazo de Platino's mask at La Arena Isabel de Cuernavaca, Morelos (he would win his mask later again in Acapulco), and on October 13, when he won a Torneo Cibernético held at Arena México.

Even though he's not as young as you'd think if you didn't know his age, he still has got a bright future ahead of him. He has already wrestled in Japan, and he has been to Switzerland and France as well (those last two as a part of a lucha libre museum), and he has a lot left to give to the fans.

== Notes ==

Third Mexico City based wrestler to use the name Metro in short order. He uses the same red and yellow color scheme as those before him, but his outfit is redesigned.

Turned up on a couple Arena Neza cards in late 2007. Vanished until the end of 2008, where he started working openers in Arena Coliseo. He never appeared under that name in Arena Mexico and was taken back off the shows after just a few weeks. It's possible the promotion already had decided on big plans for him and wanted to make sure he wasn't known under the previous name.

Started as Metro in January of '09, though still continued to work as Romano on non-CMLL shows for a couple months. Metro immediately was springboarded to the tercera level on non-Friday cards, and rose to semimain (and occasional main events) by the end of his first year. To start year two, Metro captured the [[Mexican National Trios Championship]], with new partners [[Mascara Dorada]] & [[Stuka Jr.]].

Unlike most of CMLL's tecnicos of his age and experience, Metro is more of a power type wrestler, not a high flyer. His [[German suplex]] finish fits that mold, a strength move uncommon as a finish for natives.

Metro has leaped over many more experienced wrestlers in his short CMLL career. Presumably, this means CMLL is high on him, but we may not know for sure until he takes on a character that's not so obviously sponsored.

Danger is started out as masked [[CMLL]] opening match tecnico. He's was a younger wrestler, working early matches on shows.

There are differing reports about Danger's birthplace. Earlier reports had him from the Dominican Republic, but a [http://www.elhalconnet.com.mx/danger_7201.php recent interview] says Mexico City. He is also believed to be the son of [[Salsero]].

Danger was dropped from CMLL in May of 2007. Shortly prior, a video surfaced on YouTube, shot in the locker room of a CMLL show and revealing the unmasked of CMLL wrestlers (most notably [[Mistico]].) The rumors at the time said Danger was responsible for the video and he'd been blacklisted as a result. His father was dropped from CMLL around the same time, which may have been related.

Danger resurfaced briefly on AAA TV in 2008 for one match, but vanished back to the indies. He's believed to now be under the Pendulo mask in IWRG, probably looking for a fresh start.

== Biography ==
Trained by [[El Talismán]] (Hijo del Gladiador), he made his debut on April 30, 1994 in [[Naucalpan]] as Ultramán Jr.

His most important win in Naucalpan was when in August of [[1995]] he won the mask of [[Danny Boy|Tortuguillo Karateka IV (Danny Boy)]], one of the [[Ninja Turtles]].

Had his first Japanese tour in July of 1995. He has done well there because the Ultraman series is very popular among kids and youngsters, and nowadays he still tours Japan several times a year even after the name change.

In November of 1995, he teamed for the first time with [[Solar]] and [[Super Astro]] to reform The [[Cadetes del Espacio]] in [[El Toreo]]. During the early 80s, the original Cadetes (Solar, Super Astro and the original [[Ultramán]]) were a popular high flying team.

Shortly thereafter, he started to wrestle for [[EMLL]]. By January of [[1996]] he was already wrestling [[Arena Coliseo]] undercards.

In October of [[1998]] he changed his name to Starman to avoid legal trouble with the original Ultramán (Milo Ventura, who isn't a relative). Even since his debut the original had been feuding with him over the rights of the name.

On [[January 1]], [[2001]], he became Ultraman Jr. again to lose his mask in a Japanese card co-promoted by [[Atsushi Onita]] and the [[EWF]] independent promotion. This mask loss was never acknowledged nor even mentioned in his home country, so he still wrestles for [[CMLL]] as a masked undercard tecnico.

I don't know if it really qualifies as lucha libre, but there is now a show called "100% Lucha" on Teléfe Internacional from Argentina. It features absurd GLOW-like gimmicks (surfer, delivery boy, pharaoh, ninja, Scottish Highlander, snake, chiropractor) on luchadores that are supposed to be from different parts of the world (Cairo, Milan, Chicago, Istanbul, etc.). We've discussed this sort of thing internally back when we were setting up the site (and I wish I had those e-mails in front of me at the moment.) I can see the value of adding of CHIKARA as a promotion page, because we've got enough eligible bios of guys who've worked in Mexico and for that group ([[Mike Quackenbush]], [[Skayde]], [[Chris Hero]]) that you could make a case for a category of people who have worked there.

The problem is doing a CHIKARA page would seem to open the door for people to post bios of everyone's who ever worked for that promotion once and, by extension, eventually every US indy wrestler ever. It wouldn't actually open that door, because I'd be removing those pages as soon as I see 'em, but then we'd have other people wasting time making pages (new people to ignore the rules) and me wasting time deleting them, all for one promotion's page.

While viewing wrestling on justin.tv, I came across a channel for XEJTV Canal 5--Cuidad Juarez. Turns out it's official since the official site-- http://www.xejtv.com --also has a link to the justin.tv site under "en vivo". Anyway, both CMLL and AAA are shown on Saturday (CMLL) and Sunday (AAA). The time tends to vary depending on if it's preempted by NFL or something. However, it is viewable online. The Organizacion Mundial de Lucha Libre is a Colorado based lucha libre promotion. It was founded by Red Demon, [[Delta 2000]], [[Delta Jr.]], Momia, Black Dragon and Referee Franco. It was founded in 2009. They began holding monthy to sporadic shows featuring luchadors all through Colorado. The company is one of Colorado's strongest now. They are holding 3 monthly shows and attract a wide sized audience. The promotion usually holds cards in suburban areas or places with regular promoters in Mexico, and is known for its outlandish gimmicks and characters. AAA is regularly broadcast on Televisa in Mexico and Galavisión in the United States.

AAA is also referred to as PAPSA (Promociones Antonio Pena S.A.). It's been a long held belief that Televisa (AAA's television partner) owns the AAA name and the promotion keeps the PAPSA name visible in case they ever left Televisa and had to change names. The names AAA and PAPSA are interchangeable.

== History ==
AAA was established on 15 May 1992 when EMLL booker Antonio Peña left the company to establish his own. Along with [[Konnan]], much of the young and exciting talent defected to AAA, which left [[CMLL]] with a middle-aged roster and a seemingly bleak future. AAA also looked for talent from other markets, as they found and signed Tijuana natives [[Rey Mysterio, Jr.]] and [[Psicosis]]. The promotion flourished with top talent (such as [[El Hijo del Santo]], [[Octagón]], [[Blue Panther]] and the Casas brothers) and top draws ([[Los Gringos Locos]], [[Cien Caras]], [[Konnan]] and [[Perro Aguayo]]). The rising popularity of AAA soon caused rival [[Lucha Libre Internaciónal |UWA (Universal Wrestling Association)]] to fold, and Peña was quick to sign [[Canek]], [[Dos Caras]] and [[Los Villanos]].

The peak of what is considered AAA's "golden years" (1993-1995) was the [[When Worlds Collide]] Pay-Per-View, which was promoted in conjunction with [[WCW|World Championship Wrestling (WCW)]] and broadcast in the United States on November 8, 1994. Two weeks after the show, [[Art Barr]] (a key member of Los Gringos Locos) died while visiting his family, while resulted in the [[AAA/IWC World Tag Team Championship|AAA Tag Team Championships]] being vacated. In addition, [[Eddie Guerrero]] departed the promotion to compete full-time in Extreme Championship Wrestling (where Art Barr was planning to go as well), and [[Louie Spicolli|Madonna's Boyfriend]] also departed the promotion. El Hijo del Santo also departed as a result of creative problems, and would soon be followed by stars such as [[Fuerza Guerrera]] and Blue Panther when the Mexican economy began to slow down. Many of the promotion's young stars (such as Rey Misterio, Jr., Psicosis, [[La Parka]], and Juventud Guerrera) signed with WCW in 1996. In early 1997, AAA established a working agreement with WWE, but the only significant outcome was that several luchadores were featured in the 1997 Royal Rumble.

AAA continues to sell out big arenas (like Toreo de Cuatro Caminos) for their big shows (such as Triplemanía and Guerra de Titanes), despite the fact that their talent pool isn't as deep as it once was. On 6 October 2006, founder Antonio Peña died of a massive heart attack.
In wake of Peña's death, Konnan has taken a hands-on approach to booking the promotion. Peña's brother-in-law [[Joaquin Roldan]] stepped up on camera to take his brother-in-law's spot as the owner of AAA while Joaquin's son [[Dorian Roldan]] has stepped up backstage.

The promotion is performed on the Vans Warped Tour in 2007.

===Working Relationship with TNA Wrestling===
AAA developed a working relationship with [[TNA|Total Nonstop Action Wrestling]] in 2004. Through the relationship, AAA sent luchadors [[Juventud Guerrera]], [[Hector Garza]], [[Abismo Negro]], [[Heavy Metal]], and [[Mr. Aguila]] to TNA to compete in the America's X-Cup Tournament as a contingent known as Team Mexico. Team Mexico dominated the America's X-Cup Tournament, defeating Team USA in the first round before retaining the Cup against both Team Canada and Team Britain. They eventually lost at the World X-Cup, which saw Team USA defeat Team Canada and Team Mexico in the Ultimate X finals to win the Cup.

Following the World X-Cup, Hector Garza jumped ship to [[CMLL]]. It was reported that Garza was upset that he was not compensated by Pena for dates he worked with TNA as per their original agreement. Garza has worked for CMLL since.

Due to multiple reasons, TNA and AAA broke off their working relationship late in 2004. TNA continued utilizing luchadors, but opted to contract them individually as opposed to working through AAA. It is rumored that this break in the relationship was due to problems the company had with AAA owner Antonio Peña, who was said to have been a difficult man to work with at times. In 2006, AAA and TNA worked again for an event in Toreo de Cuatro Caminos, utilizing some of TNA's talent and stage (which includes the tunnel and lasers). After Konnan left TNA in June 2007 on bad terms, TNA and AAA ended their working relationship because Konnan was the head booker for AAA. Konnan continued to use several TNA talents like Ron Killings after the split. The split was cemented when CMLL sent 4 wrestlers ([[Ultimo Guerrero]], [[Rey Bucanero]], [[Averno]] and [[Volador Jr.]]) to be on the Team Mexico X-Cup team for the 2008 World X-Cup.

== Annual Shows ==

AAA runs 5 annual major shows, which usually feature the culmination of feuds and storylines built since the last major show. The shows are always held around the same time of year. Technically, these are the only shows fully promoted by the company. Both the spot shows and the regular TV tapings are promoted by local groups, with AAA only responsible for the wrestlers and the programming.

The current shows are

A trio of wrestling clowns that debuted in [[AAA]] in late [[2007]] to a big push & falsified winning streak. They're announced as having a new, slightly higher undefeated run each week on television, but they wrestle only few house shows between TV tapings. The Psycho Clowns have been dominant in all of their matches.

Outside the full team together, Killer Clown lost an indy trios match where he was teamed with [[El Mesias]] and [[Teddy Hart]], but it's been ignored as far as the win streak is concerned.

The group consists of (from left to right)

The identities of the clowns still remain a mystery although through various sources it has come out that [[Brazo de Plata Jr.]] is one of the clowns (Psycho). The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that [[Ángel Mensajero|Ángel Mensajero/Nautilius]] is also one of the clowns (Zombie) although that seems to be an error and the more likely candidate is [[Alliens|Alliens/Highlander]]. Killer Clown is the only unidentified clown with the only educated guess being that he is an unknown Puerto Rican worker.

Earlier in 2007, AAA tried the same bit with a different set of clowns, though they left the promotion in a few weeks. These [[Payasos del Mal]] ([[Terror]], [[Miedo]] and [[Payaso Carroña|Carroña]]) have since wrestled around Mexican independent shows, including teasing a feud with IWRG's Payasos Tricolor ([[Coco Blanco]], [[Coco Verde]], [[Cocolores]]).

[[Chessman]] aligned with Psycho Circus to feud with [[The Black Family|The Dark Family]] long enough to win the [[Mexican National Atomicos Championship]]. After then AAA commissioner [[Vampiro]] stripped the foursome of their titles, both the championships and the alliance with Chessman were ignored.

In [[August]] of [[2009]] [[Killer Clown]] & [[Zombie Clown]] changed their names. Killer became [[Murder Clown]], & Zombie became [[Monster Clown]]. Perhaps the name change was a sign of luck as the trio continued their winning streak alive beating [[La Yakuza]] at the annual [[Verano de Escándalo]].

Debuted in CMLL as Brazo de Plata Jr. Like the other sons of Brazos, took up a new gimmick in summer 2005 to create own identity, though it was pretty clear who he previous was. He's was the largest of the third generation of the [[Los Brazos|Brazos]], and the one with the least impact, not making much of an impression.

Jumped to AAA around the same time as his father (fall 2006) and went back to the Brazo de Plata Jr. name. Didn't fare any better in AAA and spent large stretches off TV in the year under that name. Redebuted as Psycho Clown, as part of the [[Psycho Circus]]. It hasn't been acknowledged that it's the same man, but it's not been a well kept secret. Either continues to wrestle as Brazo de Plata Jr. off TV when AAA's not doing anything with Psycho Circus, or another son has confusingly picked up the same name.

== Notes ==

Based of the popular movie character [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_(Alien_franchise) Alien], Alliens debuted in AAA in 2004 as a mid-carder who was an above average worker. In 2006, he was relaunched as the leader of the a stable known as [[Los Alienigenas]] that also included a gray beast Kriptor, a chameleon like alien Mungo and their mini snail-like monster Mandrox who feuded with Alebrije and Cuije.

The new group was dropped after only a few weeks. Alliens has appeared as a solo rudo on rare occasions since, and it's rumored he is currently playing the role of '''Monster Clown''' in the [[Psycho Circus]] trio.
