The WAR City Cruiserweight Championship is a professional wrestling cruiserweight championship promoted by WAR City Wrestling. It was established in 2015.
Current Champion
Mini Estrella Dorada is the current champion. He won the vacant championship on July 8, 2018 at the Arena WAR City in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
History of Championship
On July 19, 2015 at Arena Coliseo Reynosa, WAR City Wrestling crowned their first ever WAR City Cruiserweight Champion. A Torneo Cibernetico took place in order to get a champion. Participants were Bengala, Erik Ortiz, Komander, Mickey Mouse, Perfil, Puma, and Sangre Nueva.[1] Komander defeated Sangre Nueva in the finals to become the inaugural champion.
On July 4, 2018, it was announced Ronaldiño had to relinquish the championship as he was unable to defend it due to an injury. A tournament to crown new champion was scheduled between Baby Spider, Black Spider Jr., Huracán Gilberto Jr., La Loba, Mini Estrella Dorada, Orixs, Princesita Rubí, Rey Destroyer, Rey Impacto, Veneno Extremo Jr., William Elizalde, and Yaquirou. Mini Estrella Dorada won the tournament and the championship.
