Tierra Caliente is a Mexicali-based lucha libre promotion owned by Joan Lara and Oziel.
History
Spartan Promotions left the building of Arena Sparta to host its own lucha libre events. Originally founded by Joan Lara, Jaime Garcia, and Oziel. The first lucha libre show as an independent promotion was on June 5, 2021 at Arena Coliseo Mexicali. By late 2021, Jaime García left the promotion and there were changes of ideas. Since January 22, 2022 the promotion changed its name to Tierra Caliente.
Its objective is bringing a different lucha libre style in Mexicali, combining Mexican Lucha Libre and American Pro Wrestling. Also bringing wrestlers from Mexico and the United States.
