It scares and delights me that you have 1937 title defenses laying around. It doesn't surprise me, though. --thecubsfan 14:46, 31 March 2006 (CST)

heh, thought you'd enjoy that. The real fun is when I figure out how to get going with the IWRG titles since those are defended so often, it'd be interesting to see who the successful champs are. Trying to avoid the UWA Heavyweight Title for now as I know Canek has about a billion defenses in the 80's alone.--Robert 21:30, 31 March 2006 (CST)

i think they are just calling it a wiehgt division title and not putting it as a minins title they may unify but i think is to give guys in the mini division more compettion adn recognition

Halcon Mensual 7

Halcon Mensual 7 has a story on the history of the title, on the occasion of Aristotles winning the tournament for the vacant belt. There's a listing of past reigns and it's a mess; there are title changes years off or missing entirely from what we've been able to source. The last few reigns are more likely to be correct, but I'm mostly posting this to note it exists while recommending against using it as source material for dates here. --thecubsfan (talk) 11:48, 24 May 2021 (PDT)

In 1983 (and upon his passing), Halcon 599 has Raul Guerrero winning the lightweight title for a second time on April 28, 1976. That doesn't fit with what we have, or that chart up there! Halcon is weird. --thecubsfan (talk) 13:26, 6 August 2021 (PDT)
