Yeah, he was the first Karis to appear in AAA before Parka Jr. took over some years later. The link to the original is also a different guy. SuperLuchas just published a photo of him when they put up pictures of gimmicks from the old days. No info came with the photo so who's to know if it's a legit wrestler or just a picture of some villain from a movie with the Karis La Momia name printed on it.
