Made his debut for AAA in September 1998. Antonio Pena claimed the Pantera gimmick was his own creation and he was entitled to put someone under the mask. The actual Pantera objected and threatened to take legal action. Soon afterwards the gimmick disappeared. We'll most likely never know who was under the mask but it was definitely nobody related to Pantera.
